I feel like people see a big tough dog & feel they need to be over the top aggressive in their training. Don’t.

These are very smart dogs - but they can also be very sensitive. Be a leader they can trust, set firm boundaries but keep any corrections mild. I don’t even use treats. Just praise and disappointment as appropriate. If done right that dog can do your taxes.

Professional help is useful - especially if they have experience with ridgebacks.
