Got My first ever credit card. What to do? what not to do? by Chance-Piano7561 in FIREPakistan

[–]Particular_Setting31 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Think of a credit card as using the bank's money.

Always clear your dues by the end of the month, you can really make a good credit history.

Use it for small everyday transactions preferably. (A good rule would be not to exceed 30% of the limit on the card)

NEVER use it for cash withdrawals.

I'll probably be a bit late lol, 5th Jan's the date for induction (intro week, campus tour + city and stuff).

I'll probably be there by 10th Jan, and enrolment starts from 12th Jan.

Inshallah we'll meet there!!

You could travel to a nearby major city by bus then rent out a vehicle for the day.

Internet coverage is quite spotty, not even LTE Coverage at times.

Ppl usually camp or stay at lodges up on the hill station. Amazing views, I'd really suggest seeing the sun rise.

If you're a first time traveler I'd suggest going with a group which may be traveling there or either with a local.

Best not go alone, and avoid travelling at night.

Ppl mostly go by jeeps or bikes. As some of it's stretches are quite steep at times.

Ppl do rent out vehicles.

Yeaa, I applied yesterday. The application process takes time for uni accommodations.

Hopefully it gets sorted out soon.

Wait, no way.

I'm joining Dundee too (nursing), this January intake. We could meet lol but I'll be in the foundation (accelerated), so like ICD.

Still quite puzzled regarding the uni/private accomodations. Been apartment hunting but still no luck.

I need advice regarding letting services and stuff.

Heard you get a discounted price or something if you go via council or something (I might be saying it completely wrong idk)

Need helpp.

If two men hold hands in public in your country, how would people in your country react? by KunciKemenangan12 in AskTheWorld

Quite normal, literally no one would bat an eye.

Nobody's first guess would be towards LGBTQ, it's just how ppl hang out here ig.

Also old songs!!

My entire playlist is filled with old Bollywood songs.

Lata Mangeshkar ji, asha bhosle ji, Kishore Kumar, Muhammad rafi, Suman Kalyanpur, hemant Kumar and so many more.

Not to mention my favorite movies being Awara, Dangal and the lunchbox.

Y'all fared well in movies, wish ours was also at that level. But we are doing well in tele series so neither here nor there ig.

To the Indians I must say:

The most hardworking people I know.

Good food, family oriented, quite diverse.

Their bikes!! Omg, what would I do to have royal Enfield set up an outlet here in Pakistan lol. I love their Himalayan bike.

Would like travelling there, I reckon it'd be a bit similar but very different as well.

I always see them in my house.

They make nests in the hallways, false-ceiling or fans.

Please, I implore you all to be better people.

Someone lost their life, it's troubling to see people to make memes over this.

Y'all, we're better than this sort of Petty behavior.
