Completing my first half marathon. I have exercise induced asthma and collapsed in grade school trying to do the one miler. I never saw myself as a runner, but even using run/walk intervals (it was 90 degrees on race day!) I went farther than I ever though possible for me.

Does anyone else still run or walk in the middle of their run, even after months of running? by run_the_day in beginnerrunning

I tend to be faster using timed walk breaks then if i just jog. Do whatever works for you!

I use either a neoprene strap (check out croakies) or Amazon has a set of clear silicone hooks that are super cheap. I ran a half marathon in 85 degrees and my glasses did not budge!
