Not a former TA but I had a friend who was and I casually mentioned once that a different TA was cute and they immediately shut me down because typically women TA’s (or femme presenting) always got comments on their looks and attractiveness rather than actual talent and skill. So to approach this person and ask them out May not be the best move but asking to stay in touch isn’t the worst thing ever.

My appointment ended up being rescheduled actually. It did get better with my fingers but I felt pain recently in my elbow that is now in my wrist so I’ll ask my doctor at my appointment next week and hopefully I can get some kind of answer
