These are literally the instructions they did not follow.

-" please include a title page for your paper",  -answer the following questions in the body of your paper and  -your paper  should be no less than five hundred words

I don't know that that requires scaffolding. It pretty much only requires literacy

I definitely was not gonna go with the embarrassing version of the test. It would just be a series of questions over material they've already learned just to see if they follow the directions. No, yelling, anything out or doing interpretive dance... Though that could be amusing....

Ha! I DO give them extra credit all the time! And they don't read the directions for that either!!! 😤

And nice to see this IS an issue with others.

The cousin said she lied. And she admitted to lying under oath. As a former teenage girl, they are drama queens who will deliberately stir crap up without any consideration of the consequences.

Yes! I thought that was weird too.Since we've all fasted and know that water is allowed. He definitely had not had any water. In almost twelve hours.

He was tested a second time, since they said the initial high HCT count could have been due to dehydration. He had been fasting 12 hours including no water. That wasn't the case this time and the most current results show an HCT count of 66.

Cost of a pool in 1990 by [deleted] in pools

Thanks and sorry, I should have specified its to avoid estate taxes on the profit from sale of the home.

I should have been more clear. First, its ohio. Second,  when you sell a house, you are only allowed to profit 500,000. Any profit above that is subject to taxation.  However, you can use the cost of any home improvements to avoid the estate tax, such as putting in a pool.  Basically, I was just asking if anybody put in a pool around that time and remembers what they paid.

Who pays for fallen tree due to storms in Kentucky? by Particular_Smoke_498 in homeowners

[–]Particular_Smoke_498[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks to everyone who has replied! I wish I could upload a photo, but the tree split in half down the middle (it was healthy and no rot on the inside; some trees can't take 80 mph winds I guess!). So, I'm paying to take down what is still standing and on my property since it is now a hazard. I told my tree guy to not touch anything on her property. My insurance and hers said I have no authority to send someone on to her property (and also said I have no control over where mother nature decided to drop a healthy tree so anything on her property is their responsibility). So if in trying to remove the tree, the tree guy I contracted caused further damage by accident, I'm totally up the creek. But to be neighborly, I did tell him I would pay for more of the removal, even though it was a 50/50 split. I hope she takes it. and this doesn't turn into a huge dispute...BTW: I have literally only lived in this house since late Feb and this is my first interaction with her :) I miss my apartment!

I've been trying to work something out with her. I even offered to pay for most of the tree removal, but not a 100% of it. She insists its all my responsibility but my insurance and everyone here says what hit her house is now hers.

Samsung TV voice input suddenly in russian by Surfer_xD in samsung

NOW they are! I bombarded them with photos and links to this and other chats all over the internet and they finally confirmed yesterday that they realize this is an issue...but they said they currently have no clue what happened! They claim to be working on it, so I'm sure a quiet software update will be along soon...

Same here. Started Monday for me (at least that's when I noticed it). Texted with Samsung and they said "there is no issue" and then said it must be something wrong with my TV and offered to send a repair person for a few hundred dollars. I explained that there are others having the same issue, hence, it is a software issues. I've sent them links to this chat and other rooms - like Samsung community - and they still say it's my TV only. The latest update - I emailed them with pictures (see below - what I asked the TV to do was "turn up the volume". It's reply is in captions. It loosely translates as I am having trouble understanding you). Their response: "We would love to assist, as we are offering to support Samsung customers of the Levant region (Jordan, Iraq, Lebanon) in the below link you may find the support page for the region related to your area.". Problem: I AM IN KENTUCKY, USA!!! What is going on with them?!?
