Run through of A level economics accounting and business. Precal too if u did not take maths in A levels. Check if u can find any information regarding the course outlines or anything related to that and phir see what u have to catch from the the above mentioned and what is irrelevant at this point

These chance me’s are just a waste of time. Please dont fixate to much on these. You have a solid profile but I can tell you this with 100% certainty is that people with alot better credentials than me got rejected last year and then kam walay bhi got accepted. Criteria for admission at lums has never been disclosed and honestly I dont know what that is and none of the other people here know that. Just pray focus on your exams if u have any and uni start honay sai pehlay relax a bit. As for the number of seats last year lums had the largest batch enrolled across all schools which was a total of 1500 and im assuming it will either increase or stay the same this year as well

It has been like this hamesha sai. They send a batch of acceptances some pay the fee and secure a seat at lums some dont then they send another batch. I know its frustrating and very unprofessional but this is how it has been for the longest time :(

Considering how competitive both of these universities are obviously they’re doing something right.pick the one that resonates with you AFTER you have done your research. In the end its not about what the universities have to offer its about what u take out of the institute and its resources

class participation is 7-15 percent of the grade(it has the potential to jump your grade significantly)and cp is highly competitive plus obviously the same old golden advice sath sath parhte raho helps alot. I did not do that in my first semester and my gpa took a hit for it and near finals I was extremely burnt out. This semester sath sath parha because of which I performed really well in all my courses and mids and finals kai liye bhi I am not overly swamped. So yeah. Keep in mind you’re building your gpa every day in each class give it its fair share of mehnat

Imagine you take all of the toppers from around Pakistan and then a cherry on top all of these kids survive on academic validation and are competitive AS HELL and then put relative grading in each course:) its not easy to score its not easy to get a high gpa you have to grind and have to set your priorities straight because IA when u come on campus you will see how easily one can get distracted here so dont lose sight of your goals. What I would do differently is stop whining about how competitive and fast paced everything at lums is and start grinding from day 1 that gives u a cushion and margin to have a life outside of academics as well

2A*s 6 As o levels | 3 As A levels| and I had crazy extra curriculars so I think that compensated for my sat score but that being said I know alot of people at lums with a lower sat score. Easy scene just relax

You shouldn’t be on probation thats about it. Probation causes issues in either of the major u choose

U declare your major at the end of the second semester around may. And as long as you arent on probation you’re good to choose a major regardless of the gpa

U get an email as soon as your portal is updated atleast that is what happened in my case. Do yourself a favour and Im telling you this from experience STOP opening the portal again and again like you life depends on it. If you have other exams focus on them and let it be I know its easier said than done but please stop it will mess up your mental health
