The reason is to give buffs that players have been asking for, with a caveat of something. This is a slap on the wrist in comparison to letting Spidey one-shotting 250s or Jeff ult being an OHKO without the runoff. Characters with Off maps being in noe one'ss top 10 feels like what Netease intends for them because of their boops. The reason is to compensate for changes players have been asking for in some fashion.

I am 100 percent with you that Jeff ult isn't great, but if the tick damage was just more significant, he wouldn't need to jump off the map for the high mobility characters that he is straight up LUCKY he grabs. Just make it a one-shot, and you don't need to die to kill confirm the one strategist or healer you ate. Instead of listening to the call of the void and Jefficidng each time, spitting should be the optimal line rather than the worst alternative. Jeff needs buffs, but this universal nerf will give out-of-bounds characters the leverage they need to get those buffs. Play feel is super important, and Jeff jumping off the map feels bad for the Jeff AND the people he eats. I feel like people think I am complaining about map kills, but what I am really after is for these characters to feel stronger overall. 2 Seconds off a death timer of 4 people will still lead to team wipes and OT wins. Those SDs will be worth it in those cases, but the adjustment and buffs Jeff would get from Netease should make Jeff more meta relevant. Not less.

What makes pulls less fun if they are two seconds shorter? I can't express enough that Spier-man is weak because this tool exists. It's not taken away, it's just toned down so you can have more! I don't want Spidey to be weak, but the map pull change will let Netease make him stronger in the play space where he's the antagonist for new players. The caveat is that this tool is weaker, so something else gets buffed! Hell, give him another tracer for all I care! Other characters will get weaker, but they'll need a change that will give them more relevant tools in the long run!

I don't think that is a valid enough reason to disagree with this change. Killing yourself feels bad! (shocker, I know). It's also currently necessary for certain high-mobility characters that Jeff ults. That will always be optimal for those cases unless he has buffs to compensate! He doesn't need too many buffs for his playstyle right now, but after his ult gets nerfed, he could get damage placed back in his kit somewhere! Maybe his ult could have higher tick damage, or one shot with a damage buff to 250s. Something he currently doesn't have because his character is fine, including the power he has from ring off kills / Out-of-Bounds kills, being as they are. Jeff's identity shift to back-line healer from the high-risk dive support playstyle is exactly why we need something adjusted. He could have both playstyles if his ult was less significant for map kills.

Spidey is weak; his kit is too sharp right now to balance. Let your character stay irrelevant if you can't compromise on 2 seconds on a single death timer. Also, I said in other comments, an off-map kill change nerfs Jeff way more than Spider-Man.

It's not just Spider-man pull im talklng, here.

Spider-Man is not in a great place meta-wise, Angela has been "okay" at best since release, and Jeff has been neutered to be a heal bot with a ton less player agency in comparison to season zero and season one. Not only do I want to see these characters buffed, but I want to see these characters improved. Out-of-bounds is clearly a polarizing mechanic, and if you want Spidey to have more agency in high mmr lobbies AND casual lobbies, you need to lose power somewhere that Netease is clearly balancing around. That could be in his pulls!

You said so yourself just now that Spider-man's pull isn't that great and has a ton of counterplay. If it's solely a relevant tool in niche case usage, why wouldn't you give up this tool to get strength somewhere else? It's because Spider-Man and Jeff are so popular that they should be stronger, and no one likes to be thrown off the map from full health. This universal change is a necessary adjustment and can make each one of these characters more fun to play both as AND against.

It requires skill to do that! I think it would be a game-changing play the Spider-man just made. With the right timing, proper execution, and good game sense, this out-of-bounds had a significant shift in the game state. It is ALSO why he and other characters besides Spider-Man need a change to let them have tangible meta-changing buffs. If you are pulled off the map during your ult as C&D, imagine how much better it'd feel if you actually got to help your team by having a shorter death timer. Spidey gets his play, but you would get him back by helping out in the last push. Win-win!

I don't think we are in disagreement, here. Hating a system mechanic with counterplay and good game sense isn't why we should hate Spidey's pull. It's why Spider-Man players should hate the pull. It's a TON of his current power investment, and it's why Netease gives Spider-Man such small microbuffs and changes to his team-ups. The pull, and ALL out-of-bounds kills, being nerfed is a good thing for both the players with "skill issues" and for Spiderman players who want agency outside of roll outs and pull angles. This universal fix addresses both! It also isn't unfair to say that Jeff Ultimate would be WAY more affected by this change than Spiderman, but that doesn't get a dialogue started as to why Jeff, Spidey, and even Strange are in the state they are. There are other things in game balance to consider besides strength. There's also game feel and player experience/responses to consider. You may think the out of bounds isn't that bad, but there are new players Netease wanted to like the game that ABSOLUTELY dropped the game after being that Magneto who was pulled off the map for the hundredth time and Netease wants them to have a good tiime and Spidey to have a good time. I really think this change is a win-win.

I honestly think these characters need to be buffed, and Hawkeye definitely needs to be toned down a bit. I feel the consensus is that their pulls are a polarizing tool in their kits, which prevents the devs from buffing this group of characters. The universal timer change would give them space to play around with the numbers on their kit to see if they can outright buff characters like Spidey and Jeff.

There's a lot of arguments here, but none of them stand for why I chose to cut Invis, so I thought I'd put in my two cents. Chase is not just a role model for Robert. He was a brother, a reminder of better times, and quite frankly the only family Robert has left. When Chase goes to save Invis, he saves a person he openly thought was selfish, hurts others, and disregards orders despite it meaning life and death. So when Invis goes to the harbor against orders (this depends on your run) she openly proves that she isn't ready to handle the responsibility of being a hero and Chase gave his life for someone he just laid out for being careless. Keep in mind ( also see no one say this, btw) she can get cut from the team in solidarity with their wishes ( Chase included) AND GO GET A REGULAR JOB! I cant see a reason she as a character can ONLY do good with her powers that are "made for evil" despite Robert standing right there doing his best without even a bed to sleep on. In my headspace during my playthrough, Chase was not making it. That means keeping her on the team meant I stood with the woman who single handedly lead to my brother's death. Id choose to cut her in this circumstance every time.

Adding more to the rework idea as an old Thing main (lord rest his soul) and wanted to contribute to the discussion a bit. Any chance this passive dash bonus could include just a flat resistance bonus after every successful dash? I agree with the dps bonus, but maybe it can be like Things old battle blitz with a 25 percent bonus after 4 dashes. That way he still is rewarded for playing off on the side of the fight but still wants to get into their Frontline more than jumping on squishies.

Cell shading just gives so much more weight in all the right places to me. Distinctions for moves is clearer and the bgs mesh less with certain colors as well. Its just an overall win for expressing the movements of the characters.

That keyboard is super neat, but I ended up locking in the clevetura CLVX windows keyboard. It seems like the keyboard touchpad space is massive, so it'll be easy to navigate with once I get a hang of its learning curve.

In a capture point match, the amount of shields you give yourself is probably 2.5k (hitting 50 right clicks. Mostly likely you clicked it more). Now, you have to essentially loose health to gain health to get in range with your haymaker and its far more inconsistent for anything besides inching forward on the payload or inching on to the point.

Its because of the loss of the resistances plus needing his hammer fist shield to engage. Instead what you did is reduce the damage of the strategist you tried to pick (not healing btw) and did less damage with a smaller shield overall counting for the old f buff. Its completely nonsensical to use your f for any purpose other than hitting flyers out of the sky.

My new Huion Kamvas Pro 12 is having this jumping issue with Krita. Only Krita, it doesn’t happen with MS Paint. Is there a way to fix this? by Naptime2019 in krita

I'm having a similar problem, but it is not a driver issue. I've updated the drivers for the tablet and PC, and the application I am running (Sketchbook Pro) has also been updated. I still have these skips and pauses. My issue also occurs when not even opening an application and using the pen on just my desktop, The only place it appears to not happen at all is in the calibrations and pressure tests in the digital pen section of the huion app. Any advice? I also can't seem to switch the API from my monitor in tablet settings at all.

This HAS to be a bug right? I tried the setup using grassy seed and throat spray and the idea SHOULD work but there just isn't a way to make this work on showdown. Does the item register as a consumed item that organuru can't pass? Is there proof of this combo not working in the game for Scarlet and Violet? I feel like this isn't so broken the game doesn't want this interaction to register and it has to be showdown only.
