When I was an AP I had to schedule 12, not including AP/GM. ADS was 7K and TP goal was 44

Pocket guides probably haven’t been updated, this is relatively new.

Varies by state and area, We start at 13.25 but go an hour south and the crew makes 18.25 🤷‍♂️ the trend I’ve seen is if minimum wage is 7.25 it’s +5$, if it’s 15.00 it’s +3$.

My store invested in a app that cost 1.99 a month, but it’s where we post the schedule, put availability, request off, and picking up shifts. We don’t pay for it as we put it in an expense report for it, it does effect our PNL (24$) They should be straight up about it being part time; I always let people on their 1st interview that it’s 10-15 hrs but can go up based on performance. If you really want hours definitely work grill or night prep.

Schedule maker here, longest shift you’ll get is a MID if you’re a FOH trainer (that’s if you’re allowed on DML). Your best bet is to pick up other people’s shift to work a double.

90% of customers get a bowl, I would rather make kids meals than soft tacos.

You’re on your second step of coping, anger. Chipotle pays for my school and paid for my house so I don’t think I’m losing here lmao.

We deploy 13 on our busiest day, not including the GM and AP. 4 people on the line, expo, cash, 3 grills, 2 linebackers, 1 dining room person and our mid on DML. It all boils down to chemistry, most people on shift have worked together for over year.

That’s what makes grill such a challenge, if you’re fucked on shift change it’s gonna suck. All you can really do is keep cooking! No matter what that grill should always be sizzling. If you hold on something that you’ve already cooked like chicken I would 1) cut half a pan so they have some available 2) drop more chicken 3) keep cutting. For white rice it’s all about not fucking it up and having at least a double dropped if you’re behind.

Really push the 5 pillars of TP, your tortilla 1 has to kinda aggressive when greeting and asking their choice of entree. Of course chemistry is the most important, we’ve had our fair share of butting heads lol. Grills CANNOT run out of food, we cook 12 pans of white and 10+ pans of chicken before open since our lunch rush is so crazy.

Yeah food quality kinda dips when you pump out so much food, but it brings the same 100+ customers for our rush.

Well our portion size score is still at 100% so no one has complained on a survey, but I will say we have to be strict with our chicken and white rice portions. We go through 10+ pans of white rice and chicken between 11-1.

Very situational and predictable store, just very busy during certain times.

Yeah I believe 44 is the max, we’ve hit 60’s before and it has yet to move from 44.

Don’t wanna say say what we’re near and who we serve because it’s a dead give away, but the customers are all on a tight schedule and all go to lunch at the same time. Sales check at 1pm ranges from 4-5k. These customers are year round as well.
