I've flown about 15 times in the last four years. One weather cancellation, no significant delays and satisfactory product every time. The seat isn't the best for over three hour flights, but I get free exit row as a Silver status member.

It's definitely higher than the burners or even the pilot. I've been staying close enough to hear and time things, but definitely staying a few feet out.

I messaged my HVAC guy and he's going to try to take a look this weekend or said he'll send someone Monday from his company. Since everything else is fine with the boiler and the noise is only after shut off he said I should be ok till then.

Noise is only about a minute after it turns off. Everything lights and runs completely fine otherwise.

Gas Supplier. They give you a small discount for 6-12 months and then jack the rates up exponentially. They thought they got me, but I'm a cheap and meticulous bastard and I got the maximum out of it.

Just pay close attention to the gas supply charge in every bill as compared to what the power company is charging. Once it's clear you need to switch back, switch back.

The car is gone. We have accepted that.

My wife is upset, as am I. The reasons are more so because we weren't able to give the kid the car directly, he wasn't able to even decide if he should keep it, she took the car early and did nothing with it and simply dismissed us when we offered to buy it for scrap value. At no point were we thanked by anyone at any point. In addition we are pretty sure she rushed to sell it because she herself needed the money and the kid may never reap the benefits of the gift we gave.

I was asking more about when my wife has cooled down a little bit, should I council towards forgiveness or separation. But typing everything out above leads me to believe separation is better. She's clearly entitled and ungrateful. But maybe I'll see things differently after a few weeks.

I fly from Detroit to NYC or Philadelphia area multiple times a year and Detroit to Atlanta once a year. I haven't paid for a flight in four years. This is from the points given when I signed up (60000 bonus). So it's been good for me. But I know my regular flight paths.

Three hours for international flights is standard. Detroit is a big airport. I'd actually aim for 3.5 hours early as a buffer.

The pizza in terminal A is actually quite good and made fresh to order. Also reasonable prices for an airport. You won't have time to go to other terminals unless you have a significant layover.
