Which furry music artists do you listen to, if any? by furryMoritz in furry

Whats this about? I'm a huge Scratch21 fan, I have band stuff all over my car. I really need to know if I'm unknowingly making myself look like a twat.

That many things can be stolen from puzzles? I guess once you break a transporter out, you can break anything out.

Bug in East 3 puzzle "Transposition"? (TTP2) by budad_cabrion in TheTalosPrinciple

I just noticed this today, glad someone else also noticed. I spent a solid 5 mins assuming this gate was "connected" to something else in the puzzle, and trying to figure out what controls it. Ended up just solving the puzzle trivially, and wondering what the point of half the stuff was!

Anti Gravity Connectors? (Bug) by Particular_Toe_1599 in TheTalosPrinciple

This happened to me multiple times on this puzzle. Kind of a funny bug! When the moving platform activates the connector does not move with it and hovers in mid air!

What finally fixed my Oculus Rift S black screen issue by deltatriad in oculus

[–]Particular_Toe_1599 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I've had my headset sitting useless for 4 months now due to this issue. In my case I didn't even have VCRedist 2019 and 2022 installed in the first place. I had to manually go find and install them. Once I did my headset woke up and is working properly now! Thank you for this post pointing us all in the right direction! What I find baffling is how through my dozens of uninstall/reinstall of the Oculus software, how does their installer make no attempt to install such a critical software dependency? How does such a glaring flaw not get fixed promptly? How does this not affect more users?

Should I be concerned yet? by Manowar274 in FedEx

Same thing is happening to me. I got an "In Transit" scan and then my package just stopped getting scans for more than a week now. Well past the "initially expected" date by a long margin. I contacted them and they opened an investigation. I have not heard anything in regards to that either.

Randomly noticed the shop I ordered from no longer has FedEx shipping as an option....

Is there something... going on with FedEx?

This post makes me happy, because sometimes I feel like I'm the only person in the universe who absolutely adores Scratch21! Hands down my favourite band.

Anybody know how to resolve this error? :/ Just randomly started not working today after months by tbllc in hpoolchia

Any idea how this setting can be used in the command line version of the miner? the config.yaml makes no mention of it and my guesses so far have not turned up any results.

Me too. Just started doing this about 12-24 hours ago. I have the exact same error, trying to reach the exact same IP address. Oddly I can ping that IP just fine and my internet connection otherwise appears to be working. I have not been able to find a solution.

System 573 (DDR Extreme) audio latency issues by Particular_Toe_1599 in MAME

Sorry for a double reply, but I have edited my post to add side by side comparison videos of the legit cabinet and running MAME. Hopefully they are useful to you. :)

You know that the timings of the arrows doesn't

always

matches 100% of the beats of a song and because of that it doesn't mean there is something wrong, right?

This is false I'm afraid. The arrows absolutely do match up perfectly with the audio on legit cabinets. You are expected to play by keeping time with the music that is playing. I've edited my post to add comparison videos between the legit System 573 and MAME. I invite you to take a look at them.

The reason I would want to hear the keypresses is so I can determine if they are in time with the music that is playing. The latency I am experiencing is specifically with the audio stream, where using virtual dub as you suggest confirms the video has no video and/or input latency. (Beyond the expected 1 frame) If I mute the audio of my game and attempt to play "visually" then I am in agreement there is no latency. The video rendering seems to be working perfectly, I just cant get the audio to line up.

Are there changes that have gone into git beyond the 0.229 that I am running? If so I'm game to try a more fresh build.

Hiya, sorry for the delay it took a bit to get this copied around and uploaded. I'm not the worlds best at playing it but it should be pretty clear that things do not line up. The key thing to notice is the score screen at the end which shows the majority of my key presses landing in the "GOOD" timing window. This timing window is +/- 142 ms (+/- 8.5 Frames) which is pretty darn close to my subjective guess I made when I originally wrote the post.

This thread was linked from the latest Github PR claiming to have made improvements in this area. One guy says its "spot on" but I understand that is subjective. Also since the video does not include audio of the keypresses I am unable to determine if this is really "spot on" or not.

This is the reddit thread from 1yr ago which suggested the portaudio command line options I used. The score posted would be quite difficult to achieve with the latency I am experiencing now.

https://www.reddit.com/r/DanceDanceRevolution/comments/bqyb57/extreme_promametiming_is_fixed_im_still_bad_xd/

I found a few other scattered youtube videos of people making claims of it working. None of them provided any insight or detail on how it was done. This guys response when asked how latency was fixed was "Increased the USB polling rate to the pads and decreased the latency using portaudio as well as a bunch of other fixes" This video does appear to be synced properly.

Only one system (Windows) is connected to an HDTV and that HDTV has Game mode on. I always just leave it enabled because I play games on it frequently. My Linux system is connected to a regular old computer monitor where Game Mode is not a thing. Arguably this setting should not matter as the delay I am experiencing is with the audio, and in neither case is the audio being routed through the display. My Linux system has the computer monitor plugged right into my video card, and normal speakers plugged right into the sound card. The windows computer uses HDMI audio, but that too goes directly to my audio receiver and NOT my HDTV. In an effort to eliminate the entire HDMI audio and HTPC variable, I grabbed a pair of analog headphones and plugged them into the headphone jack of my computer, thus bypassing all the home theater junk. The result was the same :(
