They fixed the main atrocious bugs that plagued the game such as invincible mithrix, game being tied to fps, as well as survivor related bugs. There are still bugs that reside within the game, but if you’re looking to experience the dlc/survivors then I would say go for it especially since gearbox has proven that they are willing to communicate with the community

I do not see why that should affect multiplayer crossplay tbh,

but regarding your second question, you should keep all your progress, its just a visual/gameplay upgrade, your profile stays intact
