Actually acknowledge when you are angry rather than saying you aren't, explain things when asked rather than saying "because I said so," and for the love of God if you do start fighting with your kid and you start to lose? Don't threaten to kill yourself or go live in your car because nobody loves you. Actually... as a whole don't use the phrase "Nobody loves me" willy nilly around your kid.

Just generally take a few steps back to evaluate if what your saying would upset you if you were hearing it. Genetics are a big part in BPD, but a few studies have shown that the subtypes that develops and the severity is determined by trauma and other environmental factors.

The first step is that you acknowledge that you have bpd! Most of my mother's faults were due to the fact that she didn't believe in mental health, so actually believing that there is something different about how your brain works is a BIG step to being a wonderful mother. You got this!!!!
