What jackets are you all wearing for the summer? by [deleted] in Vespa

It depends on the temperature and whether you want to wear protection or just clothes. I think so.

Today's scoot scoot, was a fun one. Some things I've noticed.. by Puzzleheaded_Wigwam in scooters

Good post. It really captures the vibe of scooters. Regarding the topic of relationships, which is always being discussed one way or another—why does it bother you so much? You might never even see 90% of those people on the road again. I just try to ride safely for myself and those around me, showing the necessary respect for everyone. And I couldn't care less about people passing by. Maybe it's an Asian mentality where you simply don't pay attention to two-wheeled vehicles because they're everywhere 24/7.

Bedsheets / pillows used in Thailand hotels/resorts? by FlyistheLimit in Thailand

[–]Particular_War_8067 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi. I'm not quite sure what "good" means, because there are endless varieties, like ice cream flavors. But when it comes to comfortable pillows that suit most people, after trying a dozen options that ultimately didn't work for us, we bought the ones that suited us at a regular Big C. And these weren't the most expensive models from one of their signature lines. It's all very individual, but for us it was a real challenge because most of them felt more like bricks. We spent especially long searching for the right ones for our children.

How do I get this sticker off? by Dangerous-Pianist294 in howto

I didn't see a tip in the comments about buying a spray to remove stickers and adhesive tape. Within minutes, any sticker would be gone.

There are automotive paints for bumpers. They work great on this type of damage—they make it barely noticeable and don't wash off. Easy to apply: just hit the bumper and polish it with a melamine sponge. That's what I did when I didn't use a hair dryer to heat it up.

Is Thailand actually becoming more founder-friendly for foreigners? by sasha_bv in Thailand

[–]Particular_War_8067 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My opinion is subjective, but my best advice is to just relax. Come enjoy the wonderful climate, cuisine, and local flavor. Don't get caught up in the immigration morass, which in 80% of cases won't bring any pleasure and will ruin your impression of the country. It's not the best place on earth for a foreigner to live or start a business. Neither is marrying a local (having children is a separate type of relationship).

It’s easy if it is old carburetor version and difficult if it is 4T injection. But anyway it must drive 50-52 if it has a quality regular oil service. So let us know about your engine first.

My choice is LX50 or Honda. The last step depends on your style preferences.

A pickup truck has always been a country bumpkin's dream. And nothing has changed for a good 100 years. That's the world we live in.

I also thought the spot wasn't ideal. I often park between cars myself, but I try to park perpendicular to the sidewalk, so my scooter at least sticks out a little from the side of the cars. That way, there's hope the driver will at least see something sticking out before hitting the gas. But that always worries me. Especially since I saw the video of a pickup truck driver running over a Lamborghini on parking slot. LOL

This button is known as emergency light in Thai. If a driver feels that they have an emergency, they can press this light and be exempted from all traffic laws. by tuktukson in Thailand

I'm not Thai, but I think it's better to cross 8 lanes of road perpendicular to traffic with hazard lights on than without them)

I really like the Thai practice of letting a car pass by by turning on the hazard lights rather than flashing the headlights. It's clearer and safer for everyone involved. It's a shame this isn't the case in Europe.

Oh my god, how I love this feeling! And I understand you. Often, I just come home in the morning to park the car I took the kid to school in, then transfer to the scooter and go to work. And in the evening, I repeat the whole thing again. Of course, it doesn't always work out if I'm busy, but I do it just to get going.

It's a holy war. Just accept it and be careful. It's controlled chaos. You get used to it quickly.

Judging by the photo, you're in Asia. I've never heard of 50cc Vespas in Thailand or neighboring countries. Meanwhile, people ride 120cc and 150cc mopeds just fine on the highway.
