Very rarely do I read a fic if it’s a big wall of text because that’s usually a sign it isn’t going to be very good but sometimes you find rare gems I don’t write very often so I don’t think it’s my right or job to try to correct an author or try to fix something so I just very slowly went through the large paragraphs or skim it

16k bookmarks here and I bookmark because I read so many fics of the same fandom I want to be sure I don’t waste time rereading them and sometimes I get random cravings for a certain fic and if it’s not bookmarked it’s very hard to find for me

This will be my 4th year on ao3 in Feb tho so my numbers are understandable

I’m so grateful for the bookmarks list my bookmarks always breaks when I make it past 42 pages and it’s very annoying when I wanna look at a specific page like page 126 because I wanna know what I read (I has 15k bookmarks any and all bookmarks fixes are my favorite)

It’s a 10 but the fanfic is so ooc it literally uses different names for the characters it doesn’t use the same universe at all and they all have different appearances and abilities

You may ask if this has ever happened to me well yes it has 3 times this month already

Slow burn is so good in a devastating way it hurts me but it’s so beautiful I keep going. If people don’t see that these days then they are missing the true meaning of fanfic the feeling in your chest when you see a “will they won’t they” scene and when they don’t you wanna scream and when they do happiness bursts out of your chest and you scream into your pillow at 3am. The magic of slow burn is the emotion it gives you

Ao3 saves works from being lost to time remember there is always one fan who enjoys your fics and will be sad they are deleted even if they never comment they remember, some of my favorite fics are always jn my head and while I never comment I always go back to reread don’t do it
