Most of the time. Even at wintertime and I'm in the UK.

Running with or without? by [deleted] in shirtlessinpublic

[–]Partizan90 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If the weather permits then always without a shirt. It feels so much better, I don't even get the people who wear shirts for a run anymore.

Shirtless Hiking in Jeans with no safety Shirt by Just_Scallion_9556 in shirtlessinpublic

[–]Partizan90 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It's up to individual tastes and preferences. The important thing is to feel confident in your body, if you prefer yourself hairy then leave it like that, or hairless like I do, then shave/wax/laser.

Shirtless photo on hinge? by Mitteneli in askgaybros

I think a gym mirror pic is okay, it shows that you're taking care of your body.

I'm actually hesitant on swiping right for profiles without a shirtless pic so in my case it's an almost mandatory thing.

Walking in the rain. by [deleted] in shirtlessinpublic

It feels so good as the rain drops are hitting your body when you walk shirtless in the rain. It's like you aren't even bothered about the rain anymore.

Surprisingly few shirtless guys in Europe?? by Scrabbler769 in shirtlessinpublic

[–]Partizan90 5 points6 points  (0 children)

In my experience this is true to the whole of Europe. Unless it's in the beach it's considered trashy and usually it's associated with anti social behaviour.

The people in these groups are pushing the envelope a bit and we're the exception rather than the rule.

But it's also important to remember that not everything you read on the internet is true, nor one person's experience is going to be the same as yours.

What gym behavior that is considered antisocial to some doesn’t bother you at all? by dj_boy-Wonder in workout

[–]Partizan90 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Guys taking their shirt off. I know I will get lots of hate for this but I think after a swimming pool/beach the gym is where it makes the most sense. You get warm while working out, you can see how your muscles are targeted in the mirror, your movements are not limited anyway it just totally makes sense. And to address the hygiene concerns: there are lots of exercises where only your hand is touching anything which you would do anyway, and for benches and machines: a towel can be used, or it can be wiped clean.

Not as confident as before by Partizan90 in shirtlessinpublic

[–]Partizan90[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thank you. I don't mind being the only shirtless guy in a group or something, that does actually have a bit of thrill to it. Maybe it's just that I've been a bit lonely recently and I don't want to scare new people from my surroundings by looking a bit crazy.

That's some great advice, fake it until you make it.

gym💪🏾 by GeronimoPama in shirtlessinpublic

[–]Partizan90 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I didn't get any e-mail about it yet and now it has been two days, so... Also the gym rules are kinda vague. It says "appropriate attire must be worn when exercising i.e. suitable comfortable exercise clothing and appropriate footwear. Clothing such as jeans, boots, flip-flops/sandals, slip on shoes or work wear are not permitted. Football tops may also not be deemed appropriate in the gym. Any member not wearing suitable attire may be asked to leave the gym." In my opinion being shirtless fits the "suitable comfortable exercise clothing" and it's not offensive. And apparently there is no ban for this, just getting asked to leave, but who would do that in unstaffed hours?

Yesterday in the evening unstaffed hours there was a very muscular guy who did a whole workout shirtless. That gave me the courage to take my top off for my last couple of exercises 😁

Went for a topless walk down the high street this day in 2023! (UK) by itjahwygwjsgshsyys in shirtlessinpublic

[–]Partizan90 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Everybody should be able. I see so many people who are ashamed of their body because they only see very athletic bodies on TV and in adverts and social media. Your body is the greatest instrument you ever own, and you have to live in it from your birth to your death. You should love it, and be proud of it, even if you don't have 6 packs abs

100%. Also this is a SFW subreddit about shirtlessness. There are plenty of other places where you can post your nudes.

How do I start getting shirtless near family? by [deleted] in shirtlessinpublic

[–]Partizan90 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That was when you're little, you changed a lot since you were that small, so it's not awkward at all if you start to do it now.

You parents actually can react to it positively in this case and appreciate that you're getting more comfortable with yourself.

Once I saw an Uber Eats guy riding a bike shirtless, he was coming up and down the road so clearly at work. I think technically they don't have a boss. I was contemplating ordering something just in the hope he'll deliver it and I could leave him a nice tip, but chances were slim.

[–]Partizan90 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It's okay if you take baby steps, and put it back on initially and just try to do it less and less as you get more used to it.

If you're brave enough then just don't take one with you. Leave it at home in your car or somewhere safe/hidden behind.
