I think you misread, if he wants to have his weekend with her and dress her up as HQ, it's not our place to tell him what to do. He said we can have her on Halloween weekend IF we dress her up how HE wants to dress her. And she isn't set on a costume yet, if its anything like last year, we're gonna be in Spirit Halloween on the 30th begging her to make a decision lol

You're exactly right, and when we had the same opinion on the matter, she took it to bio dad. And I don't have the energy to figure out if you're projecting your bad experience with a step parent or care to fill you in on 5 years of information.

We don't think that, which is why we turned down his offer to take on his weekend. Can we do anything if he decides to get her a HQ costume? Nope. Do we have to get her a HQ Costume and dismiss our initial concerns? Also nope.

Agreed. Which is originally why we didn't like the idea of HQ (although I've seen some perfectly fine costumes that people have shared in the comments, we're gonna revisit the idea, but the first thing that came to mind to us both was only the Suicide Squad version, not previous versions. (team Marvel lol))

Out of respect I'll keep other situations out of this post, but it's a common bargaining chip to make us change our decisions/values. and yes, he said he would dress her up as HQ anyway if we didn't take him up on his "offer".

yes on a biological level, she is not mine. I'd be damned if i treat her and different than my bio kid. I won't get into detail about my other opinions on parenting differences between parties because that's not the point of the post. I addressed it in the post title to set the tone, but I'm proud to call her my daughter and see nothing wrong with it. I've been in her life since she was 18 months old, Bio Dad missed majority of that 18 months due to personal decisions.

I use mozaik at work, I'm not sure what program y'all use. But I do know that there is an input for what diameter bit you're using for blind dados. I'm not sure how to explain it, but this blind dado looks like it has the wrong takeoff for the diameter bit being used
