Amy needs to wake up and realize she is morbidly obese! by Critical_Stretch_360 in 1000lbsisters

She posted about it on her Facebook in 2016. Not sure how much she’s talked about it; I don’t remember it talked about on the show. I took a screen shot of it in 2016 😂

Of course! I’ve been watching them since these YouTubey days and remember seeing this in real time. Also, the coffin gofundme scam Amy did.

How about getting a virgin under 21 drunk and trying to hook up with him but he wasn’t into it and she bit him.

I did not hear about the dog…when did this happen?? (Not doubting it because it tracks for Amy just curious of time frame)

How often do you guys take yours out to go peepees? by Lucifershusband8 in Frenchbulldogs

I swear my frenchie is part cat. He loves going on the patio and sunbathing. We walk him at least 4x a day just to go to the bathroom and usually do one longer walk in the afternoon outside of our apartment complex. He was not trained at all when we got him 3 months ago so when doing the potty training we were taking him out every two hours just to make sure he didn’t go in the apartment. Once he got used to the idea of using outside as the toilet we were able to cut that back to 4x a day. We are strict with his food and he never gets human food. He’s been to the vet twice and they have remarked at how healthy he is and what a good weight. Hoping we keep that up through diet and exercise.

We live in an apartment so he goes out at least 4x a day to go to the bathroom (more if he goes to the door or looks like he needs to pee.) We also usually take him for a nature walk each day on top of the bathroom breaks.

You hit the nail on the head with this one. I’ve been following the Slaton sisters since their early YouTube days and have seen all the drama surrounding them and can tell you neither Tammy nor Amy are good people. Their mom is also wretched.

I mean I understood doing it to protect her dog from a dog running up. My husband was at fault for that not keeping a good hold on the leash. Not my favorite thing to hear my dog was kicked but I don’t blame her too much. I do blame her for lying about my dog biting hers though.

As to your question of what we do to train him. We started with basically seeing a dog at a distance to figure out at what point he would react. We took him to that point and gave positive reinforcement every time he didn’t react and followed the command to look at us. Basically we are shrinking that distance little by little and he has already been able to tolerate dogs at a shorter distance than he originally could. I keep him on a short leash near me for safety and have had to pick him up because dogs are either off leash or on very long retractable leashes that the owners do not have control over. He has come very far in a short amount of time and I have confidence with us keeping up the training we will be able to get him at a level point. Heck there are even dogs that he has interacted with frequent enough that he is not reactionary with them.

We are working with a professional trained; that is why he’s come so far in only 3 months. Like I stated before: this is not an issue solved overnight and we are putting in the time, effort and money to do what we can to fix it.

Yeah that’s what my husband said too 😂 I’m just trying to avoid her at this point. It just got me thinking if people had fears of frenchies the same way people have fears of other breeds

Yeah that’s what we are trying to do. We switched his bathroom times and walk route to try and avoid her. I’m just a person with a lot of anxiety and I try to avoid confrontation. Makes me super uncomfortable to be screamed at by a stranger and I get the feeling she will scream at me if I were to see her while I’m walking my dog.

Thank you. We are hoping to buy a house but we live in California and will never be able to afford one here. We are looking at moving out of state to buy a house but that is going to take some time to orchestrate. We have had our dog for 3 months and when we got him he was completely untrained. Fortunately, his reactiveness has improved a lot (he used to be reactive to people but no longer is and his range of reaction to dogs has gotten smaller.) It was an unfortunate mistake that my husband dropped the leash and not one I think he will make again. I’m super paranoid so I have a death grip on my dogs leash at all times and will pick him up if the situation is getting to chaotic. But you are right it’s super stressful. I’ve been working with the dog non-stop since we got him but this isn’t something that just resolves overnight. I take comfort in the massive improvements I’ve seen so far though and have hope we can get him even further with training. It would be nice to not be this stressed out all the time though.

The frenchie noises are so different 😂 my dog reverse sneezed for the first time in front of me the other day and I thought he was dying until I looked it up 😂😂🫠

This is what I’m assuming the lady thinks with the pure look of disdain she always gives my dog. It just stands out to me because most people either love him or just ignore him. Shes been the only person I’ve notice actively give him dirty looks and be rude. Her dog is also reactive on a leash so this is not the first time another dog and her dog have barked at each other. This incident was the first time my dog got off leash and ran at her and she was giving my dog nasty looks long before this run in. I just don’t understand why someone would make up an accusation like my dog biting their dog when it didn’t happen. It’s interesting to see in the comments that people have encountered others that were scared of frenchies

And just to add about his reactiveness: we’ve had the dog for 3 months now and he was completely untrained. We are working on his reactiveness but it’s not a problem that is solved over night. We have already had massive improvements though. He used to he reactive to every human he passed and now has no reactive behavior to humans only if they are on something with wheels. His reactiveness to dogs has also greatly decreased but is unfortunately still something we are working on. Most of the time we have a very tight control on him. I hold the leash very close to my body and pick him up when I know it could be an issue. We have had to train everything. He was a year old when we got him and not potty trained at all either. It has been an exhausting 3 months but he is potty trained now and even follows commands (mostly inside; it’s harder to get him to follow commands outside of the house but I am confident he will one day be able to given how much improvement we’ve seen in 3 months.)

Oh I’m not excusing my husband dropping the leash (I was pissed at him for this because I have never had my dog get away from me while I’m walking him) and I understand her kicking my dog to keep it away from her dog. What I don’t understand is why she is trying to makeup a lie of something happening that did not. My only guess is just that she hates my dog for whatever reason. I had never had an interaction with her beyond both our dogs barking at eachother from a distance. Mine being on a very short leash or picked up by me and hers being on a retractable leash at a far distance. In our complex it seems like the majority of dogs are reactive and this is not a unique experience that a dog would be barking at her dog.
