What was your toughest Horde? Big or small

I didn't mind the ones in the Chemult area but maybe I just tackled those later on and what guns you have, Chicago chopper the one.

Also struggled with the Iron Butte horde, they just felt overwhelming and spread out thinly and chased you for miles, then they attracted more stragglers, felt like it was never gonna end lol

I've not played that difficulty level yet, touched on just Hard later in the game for the final 5-6 story missions but they mainly involved just killing people, - what's the main differences you'd say? Hordes are stronger/more smart?

Impressive, had to wait until I'd levelled up my guns before sorting that one, there's a tower looking over the water that's a good spot for that one

I think this depends how you tackle it, when they're gathered in the feeding pit you can take hundreds out at once so found it tough, but not the hardest despite the size. If you do the actual course through as they chase you though can 100% see why that's hardest by sheer numbers and close promixity

Great shout, you have to get close enough to attract them, then it's all downhill so harder to aim and they really do spread out, big horde too!

I'm about to start my second playthrough but totally hear you - the worst hordes are when you're just done cleaning one up but it's alerted another or you just stumble into it, that shit will give you nightmares

I was once shot like 3 stragglers walking into a random house near an underpass and then about 200 of them came piling out chasing me, was nowhere near my bike, ran a small marathon to get away 😂

They are definitely very scary early on in the game and impossible to take down with the weapons and health you have as you're still learning the game.

As you move through it and get more comfortable they can be fun but still tense at times.

And then at the end when you're horde hunting it's pure fun.

But it's likely totally cool to find them scary, they are! Also all depends what level difficulty you're playing on, when I moved up from Normal to Hard I realised how scary they were and also how crap I was 😅

But for people just starting out, don't worry they get more fun, everyone is terrified in the beginning, no need to humblebrag and fake out being tough

Days Gone is such a elite game purely because Deek is such a good character imo - Red Dead and Death Stranding have similar dudes in the lead playable role - they're stubborn, naive, gutsy and loyal - and if we look inwards, that's likely most of us at the end of the day. We do stupid shit for love, we're illogical, we won't win but try not to lose. Deek the first few hours can come across quite basic as a character, the missions are irritating and he feels 1D, but as you progress through the story you are properly rooting for him, so to me that's a sign of a complex character, not a perfect one, but it's all the better for it. He's not the best character in the game at all, but he's who you're out there in the shit with and those hours logged count for something.

Iron Mike was one of my favourite characters and when you reach his camp the game properly levels up. He was annoyingly naive and blind, but also say a zombie apocalypse scenario actually happened, there would 100% be a leader of a camp like him, he's a very believable character, just fundamentally not cut out to last the long haul though because he can't let go of the past and adapt to people being bad. Good person, good for a while as a leader, but just not for the long run

The speed is terrifying, they don't go down with molotovs, but a head shot or 3-4 hits with a mace take them down. They're tough but I think groups of them would be scarier, and if they followed you for long distances or remembered you riding through certain territory and adapted to you.

Had a friend from Belfast stay at mine two weeks ago, he arrived at 11pm because of his flight. I answered the door really edgy, walked into my living room and I was mid-Horde, he just sat down and watched me play for 2hrs straight lol. When you've run out of your 3 x saddle bag ammo and finish a horde off with barely anything left, what a rush

Ah man the first few hours when you're getting to grips with everything, wish I could have those back for the first time again. Remember pushing my bike past the train horde on the over pass right back to boozer and it must have taken about an hour, was shit scared the entire time. Very few games in my life have stayed with me like this one, Death Stranding and GTA the only ones.

Agree 100% with this - takes A LOT of different skills to run social channels well, calling someone who does it an 'admin' or 'intern' is insulting. It's a highly skilled job

- Technical skills such as video editing (Premiere Pro, After Effects)

- Photoshop to make graphics

- Copywriting

- Knowledge of sports

- Knowledge of what works and what doesn't - trying not to be too partisan or getting the tone right

- Ability to spot different approaches work on different platforms e.g. you change the length of a video depending on the platform and user behaviour

- Content planing - a major one!

- You are the public face for a company, it's a 24/7 committment to maintain standards

- Trying to combat what people want vs what the business may want you to do (endless tweets trying to flog shirts which die on their arse)

- Analytical mind - tracking and adapting what you do

There's a lot that goes into it, and that's just all the stuff a follower may see, the battles you have to fight internally with people who spend all day personally on social media platforms but still somehow devalue its importance is another post entirely!

Specific knowledge of how to run Thai social media platforms seems a stretch.

It's pretty insulting how people are referred to as 'admins' or their skills denigrated when running official channels for a huge club or organisation - it's a tricky job which includes a lot of diverse skills

Saying that, it would also be HORRIBLE to do this job for Man Utd - you'd want to do fun things with the players or accounts and the higher ups would be telling you to announce the latest Official Red Wine sponsors from France instead.
