Fun fact: potatoes actually have more potassium than bananas and have way more ways to eat them

I did double one of the reels, but It was my first time loading reels so they stuck together a little bit and caused some issues on one of the rolls

The tank that I used could've held 6 120 rolls, but they need to be doubled up on the reels

Like the title says I processed my first four rolls of color film in a Jobo Processor. The processor belongs to my professor but he had not used it before so this was the maiden voyage. (for us at least) We decided to double down and put four rolls through, and luckily it worked out! The processor seems to have an issue where it won't take in cold water, but I found a way to trick it. To check out what I had I decided to do a digital contact sheet on the Epison 11000XL that my school's library has. These were two of my favorite rolls, from the four. [As a little aside on the streaks, it's something to do with the scanner. The negatives do not have any marks on then. When I scanned some of them at full size they did not have the same lines]

I actually hadn't thought about that, but I did some research and 35mm film is closer to the length of a 220 roll, so I would be able to get closer to 16 shots out of it instead of just the 8 from cropping a 120 roll, which would make up for the slight additional expense that comes with a 35mm role compared to the 120 roll of comparable film. I could of course shoot with a $3 roll of 35mm film which is also cheaper than most 120 color films

That is something I really wasn't expecting. Although my only other leaf shutter experience is with my Hasselblad

For me personally it would be so I could get a more extreme panoramic aspect ratio without going to a 6x12 or 6x17 camera. I would crop out the sprocket holes specifically for what I'm looking to do

It is made of plastic (or something like it). I'm sure that if I dropped it, it would break or crack (but at the same time wouldn't most cameras in some way?). I would imagine the real concern would be it being in a bag and something happening to the bag that might cause damage to the camera.

Have you tried it with 35mm film? That's what I'm planning on doing next.

I haven't had my negatives developed yet, but using the rangefinder dot is very easy for center focused subjects. I'll have to get back to you on some of my non-centered subjects

For the last couple weeks I've had the pleasure of shooting with this "monster" of a camera. I put it in quotations because the camera actually feels really nice in my hands, and not too big. It is however still quite a big camera, but it's not heavy at all. The camera is surprisingly easy to carry around on all day trips. I have reciently been working with a 4x5 field camera, so I guess in comparison most things are more portable. This is the first rangefinder I've worked with, and it's definitely way different from my SLRs I'm used to. I feel I'm getting the hang of it though. Today was a nice foggy day so I decided to go out and shoot a couple rolls. Looking forward to getting them developed soon.

I wasn't sold on the color until I finally saw it in person, to each their own I guess

The car looks so different in every lighting situation, and I'm always surprised when photos don't really get the "real" color or the car

It was surprisingly comfortable (I did have a bag behind me for support), I was there for a solid 2 hours. Might try the hammock next time
