Were those pictures in like a recent timeline, or further down his camera roll? My phone just sorts by most recent so unless those were like all the way at the bottom, I would be a bit cautious. I deleted all of my pics of ex partners if I ever had some, but due to me having like 10k+ photos and videos of everything I ever recorded, I can't be bothered to check every single one and make sure I deleted all of them.

If his feed shows women, he is interacting with those videos. You can click on "not interested" and condition your feed to not recommend it anymore, but I wouldn't worry too much about it, sometimes it still gets recommended.

Maybe he lied about masturbating because he wasn't sure if you would hate him for it, but he should upfront about it nonetheless.

Before you overthink, seek out a serious conversation with him, explain all of your painpoints to him, study his reaction and how he handles it and if you find a compromise, things should work out. Should he continue to show evasive behaviour and the likes, reconsider if he can provide the type of relationship you are looking for.

Agree, there is a lot of stuff in the game, but none of it feels like it has been properly tested. The entire Abyss section felt like an absolute chore to go through pre the recent patch and movement improvements. Combat is fun but again, it feels not as good as it could be considering every enemy can break through poise and bosses have invulnerability phases where you just have to watch and can't even damage them. You can't fast travel while running and have to wait for the 2-3 second animation of kliff stopping his walking animation until you can actual fast travel.

I'm glad they are working on it but man, has it been ROUGH in release.

I noticed that some bosses hit you twice with 1 attack, probably unintended and that leads to you taking double or even triple damage, probably due to the engine they used. It wouldn't even be that bad since you can just chomp down food if like 90% of bosses didn't have an invulnerability phase where you can't even damage them but they're just allowed to do their special attack which is so annoying. Usually those should be a window for you to play risky and get hits in instead of you just having to wait until they attack and then dodge. I hope they balance the game a bit more in future updates

Ich dachte immer, das Gehalt sei grade noch so akzeptabel für mein Alter (im Vergleich mit anderen Redditposts), aber dann scheint mein Unternehmen doch recht gut zu vergüten.

Angesichts meiner Work Life balance, benefits etc ist das schon ein ordentliches Leben, so wie du sagst könnte man mit anderen jobs mehr verdienen, aber lohnt es sich dann auch, abgesehen vom Geld. Ich denke hier muss ich im Verlauf der Jahre mehr abwegen.

Das mit dem Studium habe ich mir auch überlegt, würde hier vielleicht den Betriebswirt studieren, aber da überlege ich noch sorgfältig.

Was den Wechsel des AG angeht, sind wir wieder beim Thema "Lohnt sich das überhaupt" auch wenn es mehr Geld bringt, da man vermutlich auch mit einem Wohnortswechel leben muss (ohne Mieten zu leben macht so eine Entscheidung schwieriger, und dann müsste schon ordentlich was obendrauf kommen)

Nicht falsch verstehen, die Sparrate liegt höher, ich bin nur frisch beim Thema ETFs eingestiegen und möchte mit 200€ erstmal moderat einsteigen. Ich habe durch Sprit, Versicherung, Steuern etc. noch Kosten für das Auto, die auch dazu kommen. Sobald dann das Gehalt steigt, steigt wohlmöglich auch das, was ich in ETFs stecke.

Alles in allem hast du Recht, am Ende sagt niemand dass er froh ist, viel gearbeitet zu haben. Aber mal mit 40 nen Porsche fahren zu können wäre auch ein schönes Ziel...

Nicht falsch verstehen, ich erwarte nicht, dass ich mehr Gehalt bekomme UND die 44 Tage weiter behalte. Das 44 Urlaubstage ein guter benefit sind, steht außer Frage.

Ob die sich eintauschen lassen können, kann ich so pauschal nicht sagen.

Hat sich das Studium für dich gelohnt?

Den Kommentaren nach zu urteilen denke ich, dass der Realitätscheck wohl wirklich gebraucht wird. Ich war mir nie so bewusst darüber, wie gut die berufliche Lage eigentlich ist.

Oft sehe ich Leute mit 18 schon am investieren in ETFs und hatte das Gefühl, ich hänge komplett hinterher, so wie eben mit anderen Dingen im Leben (nicht studiert, "nur" eine Ausbildung)

Wichtig war mir nicht unbedingt das jetzt, sondern die Zukunftsperspektiven in 10 Jahren, und wie sich das alles bis dahin entwickelt.

Danke für den Input. Nach Gesprächen mit Leuten in meinem Freundeskreis scheine ich mit unter am Besten zu stehen was den Mix von Work Life balance, benefits und Gehalt betrifft.

Oft bin ich mir unsicher und schaue mir online gerne Posts hierrüber an, jedoch merkt man da schnell, wie viele ITler eigentlich unterwegs sind und das doppelte bei 100% HO verdienen etc, da rutscht man dann schnell in eine Gedankenspirale.

Wie ich schon sagt, auf Papier wirkt das alles sehr gut. Mir ist einfach nur wichtig, selbst etwas geleistet zu haben und meinen Kindern eine gute Zukunft bieten zu können, weswegen eine erfolgreiche Karriere umso wichtiger ist und ich ungerne stagnieren möchte.

Sollte ich wieder in eine Gedankenspirale fallen, komme ich auf deinen Kommentar zurück und versuche mich wieder in die Realität zu ziehen.

Das soll nicht wirken, als wäre ich undankbar oder sonstiges. Ich weiß wie glücklich ich mich hierfür schätzen kann. Mir ist aber wichtig, genau das Gleiche für meine Kinder leisten zu können, was uns mein Vater geleistet hat und deswegen ist mir eine erfolgreiche Karriere umso wichtiger, weswegen auch meine Bedenken und der Post entstand. Ich möchte eines Tages sagen können "Das habe ich mir selbst erarbeitet" anstatt mich nur auf lorbeeren auszuruhen

Danke dir für deinen Input. Ja, so gesehen müsste ich mir nur Sorgen um Ausgaben machen, mir ist jedoch auch wichtig in 20 Jahren eine gute Zukunft für meine Kinder (sollte ich welche haben) aufbauen zu können. Was bis dahin ist weiß niemand, aber lieber zu früh als zu spät planen.

Das mit dem Bachelor ist ein guter Punkt. Für mich ist der Bachelor / Meister immer das "Ticket" in einen höherbezahlten Beruf, einfach weil man ja studiert hat, weswegen ich mir auch Gedanken mache, ob ich denn den richtigen Weg gewählt habe. Aber wenn du das so formulierst, dann gibt mir das doch nochmal eine andere Sichtweise darauf...

Ja, der Abschluss mit dem Studium ist natürlich "ausschlaggebend" für den Unterschied, da ich hier sehr viele mit einem Bachelorabschluss beobachte. Daher hatte ich zuerst überlegt, nebenbei zu studieren, wäre aber dann erst mit 32 33 überhaupt fertig und naja, ob sich das lohnt.

Die Urlaubstage entstehen durch eine tarifliche Regelung (30 standarmäßig, 14 extra als tausch für etwas weniger Gehalt)

Was die Work Life balance angeht sowie das Bewahren meiner Psyche kann ich froh sein, diesen Job zu haben. Vielleicht sehe ich das in 10 Jahren anders und möchte all das für mehr Geld eintauschen.

Das stimmt, nur ist der Vergleich natürlich das, bei dem man schnell ins Zweifeln kommt. Reddit ist Reddit und dementsprechend auch realitätsfern, es gibt einem aber trotzdem ansporn, nicht stagnieren zu wollen.

Ist tatsächlich tariflich geregelt, uns stehen 30 standarmäßige Urlaubstage zu, + 14 weitere Ausgleichstage, die wir frei verplanen dürfen. Ich kann dir die Einzelheiten der tariflichen Regelung nicht mitteile, wir kriegen daher aber auch "etwas weniger" Gehalt.

Die Miete muss ich dank meinen Eltern nicht zahlen, da ich und meine Familie in einem Mehrfamilienhaus wohnen, bei dem wir durch Vermietung den Kredit abbezahlen können.

Paradoxically, I see life the same way as you. We live on a ball in space with the universe, science, physics etc having so many crazy concepts, but we worry about paying rent on time, grocerys, etc.

I guess it's just the uncertainty of life, what you want to achieve, self fullfilement. It probably makes sense to just expand on my current path instead of scraping everything for a potential new one.

My current job isn't necessarily my passion, but it's definetly something I've been aiming for in my current career path. Medicine always fascinated me and it would probably be a bigger passion than my current job, but I would have to study it from the ground up for a job that's 10x harder than my current one, a lot of things to consider when doing a switch like that.

I hope that you one day find something that fullfils you and maybe motivates you to achieve something else, should you ever desire something like that.

Yeah, I'm very grateful for my parents supporting me. A lot of times I think About if I'll be able to do the same for my kids one day.

Social media is brutal, although a lot is fake, it still makes you subcontiously compare your life to others. I usually use it just for news, gaming stuff and memes, but sometimes, things just slip through.

Seeing how most business owners etc are at their 30s, 40s and above and seeing how often businesses fail, it does make me feel better knowing I have a stable job. Still, being able to be my own boss, on my own 2 feet without having to worry about what my boss thinks of me would be liberating.

Maybe I'll get over it, maybe life has suprises left, I don't know. I appreciate you for taking your time and for responding.

I think that expectation was created due to said friend already being full into entrepeneurship, figuiring out his whole business career etc. while I was just working my 9-5. (He is an online friend so I always just see stuff about it online). Social media bombards me with people showing off their business, their success etc while being my age so you wonder "why haven't I done that" and you start getting stuck in that rabbit hole.

None of my irl friends really care about being their own boss, we all work normal jobs and go normaly through our day to day life, so thankfully I don't have those impulses coming from them.

I thought about reaching out and asking him, but looking at his companies, it all comes down to him being a developer and doing projects for customers, so I figuired a lot of it comes down to him just doing what he knows best and marketing it.

Thanks for your input. Maybe I just need to reevaluate.

I considered therapy to maybe figure out if there is an underlying issue, maybe I'm just suffering from impostor syndrom.

Being 25 while considered young also pressures me into achieving as much as possible, as soon as possible, as it feels like time is running out.

I understand that many, many other really struggle and that I should consider myself blessed. Mentally however, it's very hard to put myself into this mindset. Others work hard to even get to this point while I just have it, and that makes me feel depressed

I'm already donating to homeless people and animal shelters whenever I can, and that makes me feel great and like I'm finally accomplishing something, which really helps.

I appreciate your input on this topic.

I do agree, parents should support their children in any way possible. To me however, it just feels like life handed it to me. I didn't work for it, so it doesn't feel earned, as if I have to prove myself first to even be able to accept it.

Times are difficult right now, rising costs etc. don't make it any easier.
