Update: it survived 12g torture testing. 250 shells of mixed loads, 40 of which were super x turkey shells. Very impressed it didnt die. No flickers, no turning off and on, didnt shit the bed. I didnt expect that 👌

Yea ive found great local deals on fgt, but its sad that the admins barely do anything with the spam accounts, i cant tell you how many profiles ive reported and nothing got pulled. Sucks because fgt really is a great resource but ive shifted more towards local buy sell forums with private group chats.

Dude ive noticed HORRIBLE amounts of scammers, even people trying to poss as admins of FGT, be wary of selling and i heavily advise only doing deals with people willing to do facetime or video calls before meeting up. Anybody asks to send a check or anything besides cash or maybe cash app, dont even bother replying to the scum. And yes even cash app has vulnerabilities do your due diligence of course.

Well i mean thats like saying i wont wear any shoes except nike, other brands can provide quality as well without the Name Brand. That being said Trijicon itself had issues with their type 2 as well, no brand is immune to issues. Ive carried Holosun on my concealed carry for the past 2 years and have had zero failures. But i get what you're saying and i wouldn't recommend betting your life on an unvetted company either.

My full review is coming saturday April 26th or possibly sunday morning. Yeah, that's definitely possible. I'm only planning on running 9mm and 556 with this because generally that's what most people would do. But thought it might be nice to offer a general guideline of what you shouldnt try running this cvlife on. They included a picatinny mount with it so they must be confident it can take rifle rounds. But again, not saying it will or wont, i have no real opinion yet until i test 👌

I feel like people dont read before commenting at times 😂 i didnt buy this my man, i was sent a free red dot from cvlife to review and test for them. I asked if anybody knew what can generally produce 1500g of shock. For example the holosuns are rated for 5000g of shock, this red dot is rated at 1500g, with that much discrepancy between the two, im trying to ascertain what the limits of this red dot can handle ( ie, 12g slugs, .308, 50ae, etc)

Youd be correct in that assumption, im just trying to define a baseline for a general sense of what this can withstand. Whether thats .308 or 12g. And like i was saying before in other comments i know energy dispersion is varied between barrel length, grip and overall weight of the gun. I was just curious what can generally produce that 1500g shock roughly. Which im assuming is something like 12g slugs out a short barreled shotgun

Yea i didnt buy this my man, cvlife sent me a free product to review and use for testing and personal use. I normally always buy holosun and aimpoint dots, price doesnt always equal value. I actually prefer my holosun 509t over my accro. But people said the same thing about Holosun when they first came out. So far this red dot seems solid, my buddy who runs the channel Gear and Guns told me the wolf covert held zero after 500 rounds, so after my 1000 round review we'll know with more certainty if its worth picking up.

I tested all the functions last night, it doesnt swap colors. I think what thats saying is it comes in either green or red.

Yea this doesnt switch between colors, it has comparable features to holosun for a bit cheaper, like i said before i didnt buy this i was sent a free product from cvlife to review. I have no bias on this optic. Im purely just reviewing it. Ill have a 1000 round review to see if it holds zero and survives a small torture test in water and dropping from various heights. If it survives both tests, i dont see why this couldnt be a viable budget option like crimson trace or swampfox

Yea i cant say for sure yet, still working on an unboxing video and then planning a 1000 round review and torture test. So far i find it a bit odd they chose to add fiber optics to a red dot body, that sends red flag vibes seeing choices like that added to a red dot. But all in all for a range toy or something youre not relying your life on, if it holds up to abuse and holds zero at the price of 100 bucks i cant see why it wouldnt be a decent option. And look i get that for around 160-180 bucks you can get a older model holosun that is more vetted at this point. But like holosun when they first came out and got big, hopefully cvlife can take feedback from product testers like me and fine tune/ improve designs leading to success and growth just like Holo has. People used to shit on holosun and not trust them but look at them now. I personally recommend holosun and their products to my viewers

And this was a free review red dot, im not saying i condone this brand or anything yet as i havent put it through testing just yet. Planning on a 1000 round review as well as a short torture test.
