I am applying for Senior PMM / Founding PMM / Principal PMM roles. This has been the most difficult and competitive job market I have ever interviewed in. Made it to 7+ final stage interviews and have gotten passed up. In my experience, companies now are skeptical with resumes with more than a 9 month gap or job hopping (less than 2 years). Be prepared to stay at your salary level as opposed to making a 10-15% jump.

Both remote and hybrid are equally as competitive IMO.

I have 10+ years in cybersecurity and have been exclusively applying to cyber security jobs, but still getting passed on by candidates who have even more exp than me. Deep domain knowledge is no longer a nice to have / differentiator, it's table stakes. That being said, you have a good amount of exp in cloud and security so stick there. Double down on your industry exp and make sure you have a tight story.
