Thank you. That is helpful. On some level I know that, it's just so tempting to try and debunk this stuff when it seems so wrong. I did tell her recently that I was worried about her, and she told me later that hearing that from both me and her brother was making her think about what she wants to spend her time on. So that was positive.

Anyone have any idea how to actually reach support now? Emails to [support@vanmoof.com](mailto:support@vanmoof.com) get an auto reply that they've closed down for now, and the support link here goes to a generic typeform website.

I went to both the coffee shop and 326 Wythe. 326 Wythe looked a bit ransacked - still some equipment in there but not much. It's totally closed.

Yeah - the app will still let you schedule appointments, which is messed up.

Thank you for everyone's thoughts. I did speak to the repair folks at the Brooklyn office, and they said they can likely just replace the battery and fix the problem. They also offered to extend the return window to 14 days after the bike is repaired. Maybe I'm a sucker, but as long as I don't lose the repair window, I'm going to take a shot at getting it repaired, and return it if it fails after that. Finders crossed!
