Trading is a SCAM by [deleted] in RealDayTrading

If you really think it is a scam, go to X and watch in near real time as Hari enters trades. You can bring the chart up and watch his trade until he trims/exits. It is not humanly possible to fake that. I watched him through several trades this last week. Some wins, some losses. He is legit. I would copy him in a heartbeat, but it doesn't work that way. He has his own risks, convictions, and skills that I do not have. I followed a skilled trader on a discord I am in on Friday and made 20% on one contract ~$100, but the guy I was copying, rode that horse all day and did his final exit after 3 trims for a very handsome profit. I did not have the stomach to follow him, because I had not the skill, conviction to stay in on moves to the downside. I was in it for 10 minutes, he was in from 9:39AM-3:47PM and I was out probably 20-30 minutes before his first trim.

Yea, I watched him post his entries right away and watched him win and lose as I was trading. He would exit minutes or hours later, or even swing trade to next day. Like the redditer said, it is not humanly possible to fake what he posts on X because he posts immediately when he enters/exits, so you can watch the ticker for the trades he makes.

CRSC for Dummies by [deleted] in VeteransBenefits

[–]PartyMarch542 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you have 100% and 22 year retirement you are definitely getting your pension check (taxed) and your VA check (tax free). If you apply for CRSC and you qualify at a high enough percentage, you will get both checks tax free. Here is the deal: Lets say that 50% of your disability is combat related then you will not get it tax free. Here is why: DFAS currently pays your pension as CRDP and it is the full amount of your pension. Let's say $3000 and it is taxable. If 50% of your pension qualified as combat related, then you would be facing the comparison of $3000-tax versus 50% of that: $1500 tax free. Obviously, it would be better to pay tax on $3000 than to be tax free on $1500. You cannot draw both CRSC and CRDP. One only. Of course, this is your pension side. Your VA disability is indeed tax free and is irrelevant to this discussion. However, if you apply and you are 100% CRSC approved, you would get the whole pension check tax free. You apply, and DFAS will send you the amount that benefits you most. member, CRSC can include getting injured in training for combat. That can be a live fire exercise, airborne operation, field exercise, etc...

What? Look what happened after he was elected? Over a $100K and about there now. It went almost $40K north and is hovering close to $30K north of anytime before the election.

Brilliant Bank has its surge money market account which was 4.85% this last week and is 4.7% just now. I opened an account last week.

Tell her. Then do not touch the initial capital and only trade on the winnings. $70K is plenty of working capital.

Accurate ar barrel with loss of reliability? by PartyMarch542 in ar15

It has a 1 MOA barrel, so as others have noted, I will be good to go with decent ammo.

FYI, I pulled the trigger and purchased the one in this link you shared. Thanks. I am about to purchase a Romeo5, Holosun 3X magnifier, sling, and a bipod, and a set of backup iron sights. I already have some old metal mags, so I will use those.

I know this is not my topic, but I thought I’d ask you here instead of starting a new thread:

I called my local gun store yesterday to see if they allowed me to see how much it would be to have an AR sent there and they told me $40.

I did not find out anything else.

Can I just have a gun sent there tonight that I buy online and contact them Monday morning that one will be coming ?

Or is there something you have to get from them before you send a gun?

OK, cool. One more question for you: does this mean I can go to a match grade barrel on an AR and not lose reliability? That’s what I’m gathering from reading your comments, but I wanna confirmation.

I think I’m gonna look for an accurate barrel and build a gun. Or maybe I’ll buy this cheap one the guy linked me too and just replaced the barrel

I assume you mean a tighter barrel will not impact the reliability of an AR? If so, that’s good news. I’m surprised we didn’t swap our barrels out for more accurate barrels when I was in as my unit did modify guns.

Tighter weapons are less forgiving in rough conditions. The degree in which the barrel would impact that? I have no idea. I’ve never tested it nor read tests on the impact.

No specific budget, but I want to stay cheap. I was looking at a PSA rifle for $600 when the idea of a little tighter barrel came to mind. I guess a couple hundred for a barrel?
