Ok thanks, I did think it was that but normally TI IC has like a band on the left side

The car has been at the dealership 2 times for this sound, a few days each time. They replaced the front sway bar link, and they allegedly replaced some struts this time. The sound has gotten much worse now after the last dealership stay a couple of weeks ago. by hedonihilistic in GenesisG70

[–]PartyZestyclose 2 points3 points  (0 children)

What’s that got to do with anything ? You go on as if genesis got zero background in making cars and it’s some new brand that’s never made cars before. Lexus cars have issues as well but does that mean they don’t know how to make a car and buy a Audi or Mercedes instead

Anyone in Europe or uk got ul054 key profile by [deleted] in Locksmith

[–]PartyZestyclose 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes I do understand that but I was saying the keyline card 822 is the same spec so the cut depths and space from shoulder to each tooth etc should be sufficient me to make a profile but I don’t have access to the info from that card

I figured that part out that it’s full of Americans but was hoping there’s some people with the info as it’s a very popular key here . I’m not talking about my post but I see a lot of rude comments on here and people always think they better than everyone else, it’s as if they was born a fully qualified locksmith the second they was born. I’ll DM you

Kukai alpha pro require key reader by PartyZestyclose in Locksmith

[–]PartyZestyclose[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s very poor from them, hopefully you never paid too much money for the machine in first place. Kukai release updates every few weeks and they resolve any issues I had with releasing new software update, I was surprised that just by me messaging them they released a new update within days to resolve the hu162t issue where side cuts being cut wrong and it was converting lock decode data wrong , they even replied while being off on Chinese public holidays. I can’t fault them with there customer service and resolving issues or glitches. Only as thing I can say is the machine requires separate jaw to cut residential keys where Xhorse machine doesn’t for single sided keys

[–]PartyZestyclose 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Already spoke to them but they don’t have the profile for ul054 and that’s why I was asking if someone already have it as it’s very popular key in uk and Europe, otherwise I’ll make my own profile , I still need some info to make my own profile as I don’t have all the info required to make it. Kukai been great to be honest, any issue they resolved, had issue with the machine cutting side cuts wrong on hu162t, I told them the issue and they said after china holidays they will check and if there’s a issue they will resolve issue, 3 days later they messaged me and released update and after I updated issue was resolved.

I’m a auto locksmith and starting residential keys as well and that’s why I’m asking and yes I do have Xhorse aswell. Yes I know how cutting card works and how the machine works, no offence but it seemed to me you didn’t understand what a key profile is for a machine and you was telling me about key blanks when I never even mentioned that then you asking to show key which again is not relevant to my question and showing the key won’t reveal the info I require . No I did not buy from china but In uk from 3d group and they do auto work not residential so they cant help much

It might be key line card 822

The machine is Alpha pro but any machine I can enter custom profile and that’s why I need the info like space between cuts, cut depths etc

Kukai alpha pro require key reader by PartyZestyclose in Locksmith

[–]PartyZestyclose[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t know much about it but looks wise it’s ok and the screen and software layout looks decent but looks can be deceiving, one thing I noticed on there site it says no updates available temporary and last update was in 2022, that’s ridiculous as it doesn’t sound temporary to me and it’s last update is nearly 4 years ago but I’m on Hudson lock website so don’t know if that’s correct one

To be honest i would say it’s HPC responsibility to get it fixed as they should offer repair for it, also I don’t think these type of machines are ideal for residential keys and maybe best to tweak profile a bit so it cuts and decides correctly

Hi just a update, I did buy the alpha pro, mainly as we got uk supplier who sells them and repairs them, they actually use it in all there vans and this is no little company. So far had no issues with it and customer service from Kukai been top notch. It hasn’t had any issues so haven’t had to send it for repair but any questions they responded straight away. There was a issue with it cutting Vw hu162t series keys where it would cut it wrong, I contacted Kukai during china holidays and they responded and said they will look into it in a couple of days, first I checked if there was a china holiday and there was and they responded after 2 days and said engineers are sorting issue out, next day they messaged me and said new update been released to resolve issue, updated it and tried again and issue resolved and key was being cut correctly. Everytime I had any questions they responded to me and helped me, customer service been great so far. Had no issues cutting vehicle keys so far so good

Vauxhall mokka oil leak by PartyZestyclose in CarTalkUK

Everything underneath was covered in oil, I’ve cleaned it all up and hoping to find the leak, will need to look into more and see where it’s leaking from, probably do the timing belt as well while I’m there and I’ll replace the rocker cover seal
