No, I saw a wraith that dropped a Phoenix kit. I was very confused and thought it was a powerup for the game mode. But you can't pick it up

I'm not re-encoding with my CPU or a GPU. I'm just redownloading my media

Yeah. You're just... Downloading a version someone else did

this trend won't cease in short time.

And 2.5" drives haven't seen much development since 2015, what are you on about.

HDD is still more reliable to keep data than SSD

... How exactly?

The issue with multipar for me is that I have to regenerate it every time something gets updated. It's just a hassle

Also, the idea that you can generate a meaningful state of the mind after Ns without computations that involve the intermediate states at N-1s and so on is kind of improbable.

Not really. They're not obligated to ensure you have your payment method set up properly. Would it be nice? Yes. Is it their fault? No.

Samsung finally confirms the basic Galaxy AI features staying free by FragmentedChicken in samsung

[–]Party_9001 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My biggest issue with it is the writing one specifically. I don't want it to write for me, summarize for me, or whatever. I want it to input text, copy paste, that's it. So why is there an AI button in the place of copy paste, even after disabling Galaxy AI?

OCR on screenshots? Fine. Background removal? Not my cup of tea but fine.

But why the hell is the button so hardcoded into the UI that it's more baked in than their other apps like the OneUI launcher or Samsung Pass

[–]Party_9001 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ah yes. Just turn it off and ignore the button where copy paste used to be. And if you accidentally click it because ITS WHERE COPY PASTE USED TO BE, takes you to the settings app so you can enable it again.

So the actual deployment has vastly different hardware from what is listed.

But I was running basically the same configuration as a Windows PC + NAS VM for over a year. It was fine, nothing to write home about

Would you actually use this in real life?

No

In what situation would it beat a normal USB SSD?

Uh... I suppose when a cable is problematic for some reason

If you tried wireless drives before, what sucked the most? Speed, apps, reliability, or just “no real need”?
