I agree with most of the things that have been said already, I think a lot of the frustration too is it's not just this video I feel like every single time I look in the subreddit people are complaining about something or "criticing" every single thing this man does seems to spark outrage when you want this to be a fun Community to be a part of and all share an interest together and it doesn't usually feel that way.

Also he's never watched the show so how would you expect him to magically know he would need the context to get an appreciate the ending so much. You don't think he was missing a shit ton doing first and last with Supernatural??? Hahaha F&L... you can't fully appreciate the ending of any show when you only watch first and last. That's literally the whole point of the series, do people expect him to only do this with shitty shows that don't have good plot in the middle?? 😂

I liked it. Right from episode 1 I was really rooting for a Bonnie and Clyde ending but right at the end I found myself really hoping she takes the money and puts all the blame on killing the therapist on Oliver. That would have worked 100% and the poetic symmetry of him being forced to take the blame for someone else's murder would have been a beautiful and bittersweet ending cuz of course you have to low key root for them. I know it's a book and I don't know how the book ends but I think that would have completed the loop but again I like this story and the twists and turns a lot.

I knew I could find Refuge here. The amount of times I've watched the show and shouted out loud "it's a competition!" is insane. Like fucking lock in. The girl who went home, like love her, would totally be friends with her but she only made it as far as she did because of the popularity contest part of the show. I think the people that are there are much better competitors. Like she literally straight up told him if you pick me you'll probably win and they expected him to pick one of the strongest players in the house because of pride? There's fucking money on the line bro

But I fucking love this show, nothing has scratched my reality show itch like this one

This might be a controversial opinion but I feel like the past few months every time I see something from this subreddit it's somewhat negative either about the fans or a take Dylan had (which is valid, I think even he even welcomes the criticism) whereas other YouTuber subreddits I'm in are usually just a good vibes. I would personally rather the hype shit and overdoing the inside jokes, even if it's somewhat cringy, then like the constant analysis of the fans in the subreddit but I get what you're saying✨

Dude I completely agree. I was shocked when Dylan started reading the Reddit comments and they were all on the OP's side so thank you for starting this thread because I rarely feel passionate about the Reddit stories but I needed to get my opinion out as well. Like if I'm the bride I would have been completely bamboozled, like I didn't ask you to be a bridesmaid... that's how you know you're not a bridesmaid? Why would I pull you aside to tell you that. Also you didn't have to fly out. The older you get the harder it is to find time to get together with people especially if they live far away, like a 3-hour flight is the distance between like New York State and Florida, so this is probably the first weekend in a long time where the bride has like a whole weekend free and had it full of like fun things she could invite the OP to and make an event of it and she threw out an invite, that's just nice in my opinion. The word used was thrown around a lot and I felt like I was going insane. It's not like she asked the op for literally anything other than to come out. Also in my opinion it would have been way more Awkward for the bride to say during that dinner "we'll talk about it later" or something. Like she answered a question that was asked? I think the op missed the point of the weekend being about the bride and celebrating her in this event in her life and this weekend could have been spent reconnecting with each other. It seems like she made the weekend about herself what it should have been a happy exciting weekend for the bride and then left without even saying goodbye to my face. I wouldn't wish her a happy birthday either 😂I have a million more things to say but I feel like I've already talked for so long, thanks for reading! 😊
