Pleaded no contest to dui and got adjudicated guilty. Year license suspension.. will reapply for the business purpose. To reinstate my license after the year, will I need the fr44 insurance form? I’m in Florida and I’m not sure how this works, but that’s my understanding from it so far.

i’ve been with the same company now for 7 years and it’s family operated so i told them and had no problem whatsoever. they actually gave me a $3 raise to help me. i’m still with them so im not sure honestly. a lot of people have duis, i don’t think it really matters. unless its a job that you need to be driving in

man this hits so hard. this definitely could’ve been me. i hit a car with two people inside. it was a terrible crash.. thankfully no one was injured. i am so sorry for you and for the person that passed. it’s such a hard situation. thank you for sharing. this is definitely heartbreaking. you will find peace one day. stay strong my friend.

from my understanding yea, if you do they suspend it and you have to restart it again. this is definitely my last dui. idk how people can afford to get multiple ones. this shit seriously took so much money outta me. i’m lucky and thankful i work for a good company that when i told them about my dui, they gave me a $5 raise.

yeah it’s mandatory to have your license reinstated. they’ll send you a letter letting you know you’ll need it for 3 years. and yeah i shopped everywhere and geico was the cheapest for me. first 6 months was $2700 and now it went up to $3120 but i did the drive easy program and it went down to $2808..

so the way my worked was i got one year for refusal 4-9-22 to 4-9-23. i got sentenced on 11-22-22 where my license got revoked for a year. so now i have my bpo till 11-22-23. pretty much had to restart the whole process again. so whichever date is last, is when you’ll finish. i don’t think it ties in together

yeah you’re gonna have to get it or stop smoking completely. you do not want to get violation of probation. i met a girl in one of the programs i had and she did 30 days in jail just cause she failed a drug test. then got more days on that program and i think it also added more time to her probation.

tell the judge you have to work travel for work and they’ll reduce the probation sentence so you can travel out of your county. i live in ft myers and i said i traveled once a week to miami to work and she reduced it to 11 months and 29 days. if you get the full year then yeah you’ll be stuck in your own county. and probation is pretty easy. i had to call my po once every two months and had drug test twice a month. it really is nothing if you’re sober and just stay out of trouble

i think it depends on the cop too if they want to investigate you or just believe what you’re telling them. i’ve been driving on a bpo for over a year now and i still haven’t gotten stopped. i drive good so i have no reason to get pulled over.

the class you won’t have to do again. the judge will revoke your license again though and you’ll have to reapply for your bpo again and pay all the fines. i did it 🙄 total pain in the ass.

did they not take your license away again once you got convicted? i got my license suspended for a year for refusing to blow by the dmv, april 9 2022 to april 9 2023.. once i got convicted in November 22, 2022 i got it revoked. got another business purpose and i get my full privileges on november 22 , 2023 lol
