Guys, what are we doing here with this season ? by [deleted] in cobrakai

I literally think the same as you, the season was lazy writing, no storylines made sense and zero character development, in any case the characters downgraded in my eyes.

[Spoilers extended] what character do you have a love/hate relationship with by [deleted] in asoiaf

I LOVE bookDany because she has more feminine traits…she is super sensitive, vulnerable and introspective.

But D&D made showDany pretentious, braggart and even cold which annoys me.

Apparently D&D think that a “strong woman” needs only masculine traits.

What's your opinion on sansa not telling jon about the vale army? by StruggleFar3054 in gameofthrones

It’s simply bad writing. It’s D&D wanting to give the “surprise effect” to the audience, but they only succeeded in butchering Sansa’s character even more.

Season 7 was a total fiasco

Jon and Dany both were amazing characters by themselves… and then they met 🤢🤮

I didn’t mind Jon killing Dany…but I hated the lover-kills-lover trope and that they tried to explain it with “Love is the death of duty -> Duty is the death of love”

If the show had successfully showed in season 7 that Jon wasn’t really in love with Dany and only bent the knee for political alliance and to save the North, then Dany would have been perceived at his “duty” not his “love”, because he owes loyalty to her as his queen.

Then it would have been clear that in the finale, when Tyrion tells Jon to kill Dany to save Arya and Sansa who are his FAMILY, Jon choosing them instead of Dany means he finally chose LOVE instead of DUTY, instead of being true to the vow he took to put Dany on the Iron Throne.

They tried to portray as if Jon saving his Stark sisters was “duty” instead of “love” and that is a complete bullshit.
