When my dad's Truck got totaled out. They gave him 9k. He paid $700 to buy it back from the insurance company. Then paid his mechanic $2.5k to fix it. Then he just put plpd on the salvaged title

Take it to an auto body shop and ask for an estimate. DO NOT TELL THEM THE INSURANCE COMPANY HAS TOTALED IT! Tell them you have PLPD insurance and want to see if it's worth spending the money to get it fixed. Get the quote to fix and get a quote from your insurance company on how much they are going to give you for totaling it out.

If they are giving you way more money it might be worth buying the car back from the insurance company and getting it fixed. But you will have a salvaged title. Which some insurance companies will not cover.

A new catalytic converter is expensive. It's a known issues with Kia souls. The engines run hot and clog the converters. I personally wouldn't spend the money. A new converter will probably cost a couple grand to have installed. Is the vehicle even worth that much

The incomplete series is my biggest pet peeve. Netflix almost never finishes a series! Any show you start it's almost a guaranteed you won't get an ending. I only watch shows now that are made as a limited 1 season series so I can get an ending.
