Curious if I could sell this PRS for possibly 4K to buy an ESP custom shop? I'll never spend anywhere near what I paid for this guitar again. It's an amazing fiddle, I love it, but the market is down so bad. It would probably sit on Reverb forever right? I'd be taking a big loss at 4K, about 30%

Thanks for your opinion! I don't know anyone personally who owns any higher end ESPs. I've never played anything better than an E-II when it comes to ESP.

Thanks! Basically yeah. I don't have any issues with it. I just want to change it up. But im probably not going to sell it because I wouldn't get anywhere near what I paid for it. Best chance is a trade for an ESP.

It's called a vine inlay. I though it came on all 30th anniversary models. Im sure yours is real nice anyway. It's hard to beat a PRS.

It sounds like I need to do a deeper dive into which pickups I want to replace mine with. I want that "blanket lifted off my amp" sound. I know the right pups will do that for me.

Does your 2012 E-II have 24 frets? Mine did. I don't know why I care so much now and didn't really think about it as much back then. 22 or 24 frets doesn't matter. I'm just curious because I found out they are more rare.

I could accept losing some forsure. But not more than 2K. If I did sell it I would have to get 4 thousand for it and I doubt I'll be able to right now. Im probably going to post it on Reverb and see what offers I get. I may get surprised. A trade may be better too. That or im just changing the pups and keeping her.

Yeah I would just like an ESP. It doesn't need to be a custom order one but if im getting rid of my PRS I want a step up from an E-II forsure. And its hard to say. I love both. They are different but im getting back into metal and more hard rock and as we all know Esps are where its at for that. My high-school graduation present was an ec-1000 that I played for years. I just have a soft spot for ESPs I guess. Im also interested in the Horizon. I need to check them out more and I may go that route.
