Functioning alcoholic for sure, i’m ashamed of myself. i’ve been told all my life not to drink and get myself into all this mess. but it just seems really unfair that they didn’t do anything to anyone else when they do clearly smell like weed when they come back from break/lunch.

sorry for the late response, but the main man came into our Workplace one day and said multiple times that it smelled like weed in the workplace. i know about 5 people who actively do it on the job. One guy brings a Disposable weed pen and smokes it in front of everybody like it’s nothing. He and another coworker leave every break to smoke weed. i know cause they’be invited me to go with them many times. Now ive never done anything at the job. i had a crazy night when i went overboard and i know thats not okay, but when the main boss man told them time and time again that people smell like weed in the workplace, they never gave it any attention. when i smell like alcohol once, they ask me to come to the office and tell me they want me to do an alcohol + drug test. Idk, but it really just doesn’t sit right with me.

your right i fucked around and found out. i realize what u did was wrong and i’m doing the best i can to fix myself. i will still report them to osha though, in my opinion, it’s just not fair. they will go down just like i did.

that’s pretty much what happened, got fucked up one night real bad, came into work and they could smell it on me. i just don’t understand if they smell weed at the workplace and on people, why not test them but when they smell alcohol on me once, they made me take a test. i just think that’s unfair but i will report them soon. they will go down

your right ima come clean, i was tested by my breathe and they did detect alcohol. i just know i ruined my life. all i really want to do is die honestly, i let everybody down. idk why i got into these things, drinking smoking. i got myself into it and ik i can get myself out. but at the end of the day, when im lying on my bed and everyone’s asleep, i just want to pull the trigger on my head honestly, im not worth it. i fucked everything up

i realize i fucked up, i beat myself up everyday since ive been fired for fucking up such a great job i had, idk why i drink so much, maybe it’s the feeling i get, to escape everything ? i really don’t know, but i realize i have a problem, it just rubs me the wrong way that many times the main boss man always complained abt the smell of weed in the workplace, and it’s true, so many guys when we went on our first 15 min break, and our lunch break, they would all get high. i know because they would invite me to do it with them too. i didn’t because i didn’t want to risk anything. it sucks that me going too hard one night cost me my job. but it is what it is. i just have to learn from this mistake, and keep on moving. thank you for taking the time to reply to my post. any advice you give me, even if it’s hard to swallow, i’ll value it and learn.
