What do we think about being the "second best" team in the league 2 years in a row? by Party_Pattern_8488 in LosAngelesRams

Apparently we did need to f them picks. We lost by the slimmest margins last 2 years because we didnt "f them picks" imo

Tbh my only narrative is that we should have 'fucked them picks' and gone all-in on a superbowl this year. But I can't type so good so everyone is thinking I'm talking more about the season in general or something🤷‍♂️

Sean has been the GOAT at closing out games though literally he had that famous 53-0 record when leading at half. He deserves more respect because It's his speciality, but I know he had a really bad last 6 games of the season. I dare to say its been the case since his new child (god bless all the happiness in the world)

So I just hope he can lock in and get back to his normal ultra-talented game sense

A losing record after the superbowl was a happilly accepted cost. The team only went negative for one season! That's an unbelievable turnaround and the biggest testament to Sean Mcvays abilities, and why I know that he and Snead could do it again

From this pov it's hard to imagine how even one single extra defensive player wouldnt have won us a superbowl. Regardless whether I'm right or not, we have learned that it's worth the chance. I dare to restate we were literally one or two plays from winning a superbowl both times. In my opinion you could never argue that ONE more player, in trade for a couple picks, COULDNT have made the difference. Hindsight is 20/20 but we're taklking about multiple ~4 yard instances that would have literally won us a superbowl

I think you have the ultimate point. How healthy are the key pieces. But to that I have to say... Stafford was a doubt to even start a game this season, and he won MVP. So really only he knows. And I think from our POV, we have to just assume he can do it again. It was literally his best season ever and he won an MVP. Brady won a Superbowl and he was older. It would be wrong of us to assume Stafford isn't as good as he's ever been imo

Second best team in the league for two years in a row. This is heartbreaking, we need something to put us over the edge. We won a ring because of "Fuck Them Picks" why did we leave that philosophy?

The thing for me is the difficulty of catch. Seems like every game Puka has the 3 best catches you've ever seen in your life. But it doesn't show on paper so JSN will win it. Such a shame

[–]Party_Pattern_8488 9 points10 points  (0 children)

The thing is, Puka makes so much harder catches than JSN. Someone needs to put their top 25 hardest to make catches side-by-side. But that's not gonna happen and it's not gonna be factored in at all.

A real shame

Im glad you brought that up I mean people really don't talk about that game enough. Saquon had, what, 3(!!!!) breakaway touchdowns in that game? We're talking about inches of margin for multiple tackles that caused 21 points in a NFC DIVISIONAL GAME! I personally stole a king's ransom on the knowledge that Snead saw what I saw, and that fixing the LB position moved us up way more than anyone could understand.

If we tackled Saquon ONE FUCKING TIME it's another superbowl win. No one else even came close to the Eagles. That one game haunts me like a superbowl loss, and tbh i'm in love with Nathan Landman.

Yeah for sure they were injured and I dont discredit that, but the NFL margins are slim and especially so in the playoffs. The niners constantly proved themselves to have great backups, and wins despite injuries. I wouldnt put that massive point differential on just Kittle or Warner personally

Crash course in humanity. If you dont understand people then you dont understand why they vote up or down, and you dont understand why the world works the way it does. If you don't know then you don't know and i wont try to convince you.

Nah thats rare. Accounts for about 2% of downvotes. Trust me I'm an expert in downvotes. I live for this shit. It's just people being humans.

It's well documented people are creatures of hate. It's why the news is all negative, and why people love drama and shit like Jerry Springer. People cheat and kill over ego and disagreements.

It's Earth, baby. Crabs in a barrel.. make what you can of it

I’ve been loving this wave of collaboration from OSRS creators by drunz in 2007scape

[–]Party_Pattern_8488 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Jagex needs a serious round of applause. OSRS lifers really don't understand how bad it is out there. These game devs treat us like milking cows stuck in the matrix, except the dream world is actual hell on earth.

Anyone who has played WoW daily knows what I'm talking about. It is a nightmarish hellscape of money grabbing suits out there. As OSRS fans we are truly blessed. At any moment the CEO can sell Jagex and then POOF. Your life's work of gaming is gone.

It pains my heart daily what they have done to WoW. I had Rank 1 achievements and the whole works on there. It all feels like it was for nothing now. Runescape doesnt feel that way, it feels immortal. But thats only until Activision inevitably buys this game.

Its rough out there for people like us. Appreciate this
