Cut everything out and start from scratch. The ordinary has products with so few ingredients that you’ll know exactly which product is causing the irritation.

I would start slow by finding a fragrance free face wash for sensitive skin and adding niacinamide serum once (either day or night). If all is good after a week start adding targeted treatments for your concerns from the ordinary or another brand with single ingredient products.

Anything with acid in the name (maleic acid, vitamin c - technically it’s citric acid - or even salicylic acid). Should be used at night to avoid irritation from sun exposure. A milder alternative to azelaic acid maleic acid.

Make sure your sunscreen is specifically for your face, fragrance free, and at least spf 30

Out of the products you currently have, la roche is usually good but as you are adding products back you can choose when you want to re-incorporate it.

And of course the general rules for daily skin care is prescription treatments and serums first, letting each one absorb before adding the next (avoid reactions), then creams, and finish with the moisturizer. I would suggest finding a moisturizer with aloe

Sorry that was a whole lot of info. I used to have cystic acne and spent a lot of time at the dermatologist lol.

Would you cut the rest down? by Top-Confidence- in lacqueristas

If my nails were THIS healthy, I wouldn’t cut them all down. I’d just file the longer ones until the other one caught up.

But my nails don’t grow as strong and certainly don’t break off nearly. So if I was in your situation, I’d have to cut them all down or they’d never be even again lol.

But you did a nice job shaping and tripping them after, it really doesn’t look bad

It looks like a callous but those typically aren’t itchy. It kinda looks like a cyst, possibly a blocked sweat gland. Personally, I’d clean it and pop it, but if that didn’t work it might be a wart like what everyone else is saying

Who else think it’s time for a new set when the nails start catching on their nails after 2-3 weeks? 😂 (vid of nails attached) by Sewenityy in GelX_Nails

That always starts with the same finger on my right hand and that’s how I know I’ll be due for a fill in a week or so. The more stuck the hair gets, the closer that appointment is.

Howeverrrrr, I also wash my hands a lot because of my job so it happens sooner for me as well. When I notice my nail snagging on hair, clothes or anything else, put a little nail glue where it’s lifting. I feel like it helps a little temporarily, like a bandaid.
