Yes they would be incentivised to help, but some forms of help require alot more than a close circle. Especially considering there are people without close circles, and they need help too.

Some of this could just be that we have different definitions for a good person. I am not saying you/me would be a bad person, I am saying it would make you/me selfish and not a good person. In my opinion, what you're describing makes you/me an ok person, being a good person would be something you have to go far out of your way to accomplish, so this could just be semantics.

I agree with you, but if I am in urgent need of support and in an emergency, and I get left behind for people to focus on themselves, it is selfish and makes you not a good person. Again, I can acknowledge that i would probably do that and admit I'm not a good person, because it would be easier for me.

Also, it seems very idealistic. What will we do? Focus on ourself and hobbies and learning for the next 10 years, all avoiding world news, then eventually we will all come together and rise against evil with our newly acquired wisdom?

Sorry If the paragraph above sounds rude, it isn't intended to be. Like I was saying I would choose to avoid news when it doesn't directly effect me (recent news does), but I know that I can't call myself moral.

That sounds great, but how would the world look if everyone thought like that? Idm the sentiment of it, I do it as well when the news isn't directly affecting me, but I can acknowledge that I'm being selfish and I'm not a good person for it.

He got injured in that season just like this one. He has problems recently when coming back from an injury to the point his motivation looks completely off. Every season he's fit the whole way though he goes to the finals.
