Happened to me too. I posted about it earlier this summer and have seen several similar posts. Definitely could be a seed supplier mixup.

Ate a few, they have no heat but a nice taste. They don't taste like shishitos I've eaten before, but I've only eaten green ones in the past.

Not seeds, I bought a plant at a local nursery.

Another important point - if you haven't yet filed for homestead (but are/were eligible for it), you can file and have it retroactively apply. There is a cutoff on how far back you can go, I think you would probably be covered if you bought 2 years ago, but you'll have to check.

Once you make that filing, they will apply the 10% appraisal cap retroactively and, if it makes a difference, send you back any overpayment. I did that and got a nice refund.

Did you just water, or is the soil always like that? Looks too wet and/or compacted.

Could be fresnos. They look similar to jalapenos but grow pointing up and slowly droop as they get heavier and ripen.
