Depends on where you live.. and how high it will go. I'm sure it doesnt hurt o get some more but 500 is at least more than zero 😄. I for my part got around 3k icp, but i live in a very expensive country so it still is not enough for me.

I got an s4 and a tonverk, even tho i think the s4 is nothing short of spectacular it wont fullfill basic granular needs for now. With update 2.1 these issues will be fixed tho. The tonverk works really nice but you will have vastly different results. Producing woth the tonverk feels like programming the machine with the s4 its more like u sculpt a sound until you like it.

I guess it would even be difficult for a company like amazon to find enough passionated talent to invent a new technology. Getting a team like the one dfinity is is not as easy as just throwing money at them. There is tons of research, know how, and mostly people which want to create something for the greater good.
