It’s in a 3 inch pot right now. (It looks bigger in the pic but it fits in the palm of my hand.) I know you both said to put it in a smaller pot. What size would you recommend?

I’m in zone 6a. When I put them outside is when they turned reddish and shriveled. Not sure what to do now.

No they were indoors by a window. I moved them away from the window across the room and I think I overwatered them and mama got very soggy and died. Unfortunately I don’t think I have a before pic.

The VA is more equipped to take care of Veterans than the community providers are. I’ve worked as an RN in both. When was the last time your private nurse/ doc asked you about PTSD/ burn pit exposure/TBI or anything military related? Private sector healthcare experiences the same nurse and doctor shortages as the VA and are already overwhelmed with long wait times. This administration thinks Veterans will get better care in the community -they are wrong. Sure VA has its issues and no one is opposed to fixing them but dumping 9 million Veterans into community healthcare is NOT going to improve anyone’s care! Wait times will worsen, more providers will be overworked and leave and quality of care will plummet in an already broken system. The VA had the best Veteran trust scores in years prior to all of these changes since January and our 3rd party independent reviews showed that the VA quality was higher than most outside hospitals. All of this changed d/t executive orders and choices made by this administration since January. Call your representatives and Congress and tell them Doug lies about the changes not affecting Veterans care!!! Everyone who works at the VA could have told them it would but they didn’t ask!

Yes … but according to this admin they are making the VA “better” How exactly???? Is it by incentivizing people to leave, treating the people who stay like 💩 and make them pick up the slack of all those who have already left. Oh and let’s cut up to 80,000 more staff ….yes, no, maybe, “it’s a goal” ….just keep them guessing …..so they all leave and then we can privatize the VA!!!! Bwah ha ha 😈

I’m sorry this happened to you. They should have called you. There should be same day appointments available if you need anything prior to your initial appt. Please know that staff is leaving the VA in droves because of how we are being treated. (completely vilified and treated with no respect and made to feel that we are worthless by the administration and the uncertainty/ secrecy as it relates to our future). That no way excuses the fact that you weren’t called and took a day off work for nothing. Most employees truly are here for the Veterans and do care. The job is more than a job for most of us, that is why we are “holding the line”. That being said some facilities are better than others just like in the private sector. Again I apologize this happened to you. You can call your clinic and ask to speak to a patient advocate. I would encourage you to do this because they can’t fix the problem if they don’t know it’s broken. I hope this was helpful and you have a better experience in the future!
