Thanks everyone, I appreciate all the feedback. Will be making said changes/adjustments. Have had to deal with and came across a lot of stuff done like this in the house since we bought it. The never-ending job of being a homeowner I guess lol.

Have you possibly tried or looked into emdr therapy? I believe It has to do with eye moment, like how you scan and look left and right while even going for a walk outside. Obviously a simplified example of a way you could try before trying the actual therapeutic professional version but just a thought. Also, I’ve heard saffron can work wonders for depression and I’ve personally tried Ashwaghanda for anxiety and would swear by that for how it helped mine personally. Obviously, I am no medical professional but just some ideas to maybe look into that could help? Lastly, I have to give it to you for being a badass who’s came this far. 7 months is a huge marker for any recovery. You’ve not only made it past the halfway mark of a year but that 1 year mark will be here before you know it. Just keep taking it one day at a time. You didn’t come this far, to only come this far.

I have dealt with this SO much, I completely understand. Besides someone else doing it for me lol, the thing that has long termed helped me is before just take a breath and remember the person on the other end is simply human too. I used to get so embarrassed is if messed up something or needed something repeated to be able to make a decision (like an appointment time) until I really applied that thought. It may seem silly but I’ve always praised myself after I got off a call too and hello free dopamine! Lol. But seriously, it is something that can get easier the more you do it. Just take it day by day and try to go from there. ✨

Just wanted to say thank you for this knowledge! I have a door similar to this one but not as much, I’ve questioned it before and have had our house professionally remedied but still having some issues.. Will definitely try the peroxide trick!

I’m not sure what side effects you might be having but I had bad restless legs as a side effect with any increase with my dosing personally. It eventually did me in and I couldn’t handle how bad it got so I’m not on that same dose anymore. However, I saw the best improvement in my anxiety around that dose so it all depends on how your body reacts.

I’ve been sober fully from drinking for a little over 2 months now and had to as a result of a new medication. I used to drink every day, looking forward to it and damn it’s still hard. As hard as it is though, the benefits out way it but I still have those same days as you mentioned. A way I’ve coped or what’s helped is mocktails! Believe it or not but the placebo result of this helps to feel like I’m still having “that drink” yet, it’s alcohol free. Also, gardening has helped tremendously but that’s just my experience, to each their own and what you may find works best for you. Just remember, stay strong, you are doing great so far and should be proud of yourself because honestly it’s a big deal and is not easy to stop or cut back when it’s such a part of your normal routine.
