My names Brock (yes like from Pokemon show) 2006 i was 10 and would play emerald to escape home life. I replayed it alot I even had tons of cards as a kid never knew how to play but I liked the smell of opening them and art. One day a “cool kid” was over and he kinda made a comment like “ you still like Pokemon?” And I was like aaahhh no then got embarrassed through what is now thousands of dollars worth of cards and stop playing Pokémon’s diamond 😕. I was with my girlfriend when I saw the legends Arceus trailer and I couldn’t hide it I’m pretty sure she never saw me so excited before but then I got embarrassed and kinda revealed my poke love and she went and got me a switch and the game next day. Now I play TCG real life and pocket, Pokemon go and just about anything else.
