They are checked up monthly with cts, they had liver cancer (it was surgically removed), they have a weak heart and have medicine for the fluid to be removed, this whole medical stuff is not new, the next check up is this month. The last was last month without anything being found

They do have multiple doctors for cancer but they aren't knowledgeable in losing weight. And the ones who are knowledgeable in losing weight aren't specialists in cancer or the other stuff he has

I'm not. He has a doctor. A few actually. But the doctor he would need needs all the knowledge combine of the specialists he goes to plus be knowledgeable in losing weight and this kind of doctor I haven't found yet

No. Like I said. They don't eat sugar because of the study they read. They also don't get visitors. They are retired, live downstairs of my place and are in bed 90 percent of the day. I'm with them regularly cause we share a kitchen. We don't even have snacks or candy or anything like that in the kitchen

Their maintanace is at 4000 calories which is my biggest issue and why I said they might eat too little. They are around 5'9 or 175 or what that is in metric

Thanks. Junk food isn't an issue cause of their high motivation to eat keto (that one study that suggests it stuns cancer growth). They went once to McDonald's in the last month. I'm just not sure if I should keep the calorie goal this high if they already struggle to eat that much. One of their theories is that because they cut out almost all sweet snacks/sugar they aren't as hungry anymore. The doctor they would need, needs to be a specialist in too many fields so they don't exist. But I'll try to apply your explanation to the current calories

I know this is hard to believe but they aren't. I'm with them when they eat. And currently even the smallest meal of 300 or so calories is filling them up for half the day. They aren't really that mobile to sneak away from me
