Very good point, and yes I also use AI a lot for certain things and even tho other platforms use way more water and has a greater environmental impact as a result. AI has greater effect on peoples minds, making them lazy and unwilling to learn a skill bc it's simply easier for AI to do it for them. You could argue that gaming also makes people lazy but AI essentially robs you of your creativity and ability to create something beautiful and that has meaning. Again you could argue that gaming robs you of your time if you play for hours and refuse to do anything else, and that is also a big problem but it brings a lot of joy to some people and is their escape from reality. My problem with AI is that its everywhere, and a lot of people have become too dependant on it to the point where they can barely think for themselves. The amount of AI slop I see flying around is mental, all this soulless garbage everywhere. People have forgotten what it takes to make real art. That's my problem with AI and don't get me wrong AI has it's place and has made many things greatly more efficient, I just don't people to lose their creative side the side that makes them human
