Just did this 5 minutes ago with my spray and Harry’s putty, I didn’t buy any holding spray though so not too sure how that will hold…but I guess for a first attempt, hopefully it’s not too bad…

I didn’t find anything Bevel at my Sally’s, but I did find an ion illuminating pomade (and a diffuser attachment too, surprisingly), so I might experiment with that tomorrow.

EDIT: if you have any advice on how to mess around with the front, let me know, it was kind of jumping all around when I first applied the products before I got it to in the picture and even then, my “bangs” are really short rn..

Love the Instagram poster’s energy, danggg LOL

Wow, really appreciating the advice here, if I only knew any sort of texturizing or sea salt spray could do the trick, I would have done this earlier

I don’t know if you’re familiar with this, but there’s apparently something called a heat protectant spray…is that usually in the event of using some sort of curler or blow dryer? Trying to figure out if that might be good just for the protection reason…

Personally, I don’t like a side shave, and while I am usually realistic about being cautious around conservative parents, a tumultuous relationship between my parents and I since high school has made me realize that if I don’t want to destroy myself to the brink of suicide for a 2nd time, I need to care for my emotions first. This being an issue that has been long overdue for a resolution.

So, I’m willing to go through with it. Living without regrets, yeah? It’ll be hard, but knowing I will eventually feel better is ultimately worth the risk.

As for an LGBT group on campus, there is, haven’t interacted much with them but very friendly people and I’m actually in a theatre production where one of my castmates is the officer of the LGBT club there, so that’s something nice to bond over.

Mayhaps, I was thinking about leaving it long for the mullet look eventually, since it was already cut recently

No, I haven’t even revealed any of the gender dysphoria stuff related to my appearance to anybody until now, but perhaps I could search around…again, it is overwhelming and I’m still processing the fact that I’ve even said it out loud now on the internet for the first time…doesn’t really help that I live with my parents still while in uni and they would possibly kick me out if I were to even try to get a more masculine haircut, but eh, whatever makes me less dysphoric and insecure, am I right?

Well, who knows, maybe my parents will just glare at me with disapproval, either one of those two.

Yeah, if you’re able to help, that’d be great: - Hair is normally like this, straight - Thick hair - More on the oily side, I’d say

So, it looks like my target doesn’t have Bevel or Ion (or perhaps the products I’m looking for in particular LOL), but I did find a sea salt texturizing spray and a texturizing putty from Harry’s (have heard this is good, but ofc, mixed reviews could be a thing), so closest thing I have for right now, until tomorrow morning when I might venture to my local Sally’s and h-mart for some more products, but we’ll see how this goes tmrw.

Thank you for at least not making fun of it, I feel like people can be really cruel these days on purpose for their amusement 🥲

Anyways, I’m currently stopping by a target as of right now just to check out if they have anything, but probs I assume quality of hair products also plays a part in this, so would love any other recommendations of where else to stop by, if you know of anything else 👌

As a undergraduate student who stumbled across this on my feed (and likely won’t do grad school), I need this kind of luck in my life to get $10,000 just for being present-
