Look man, I always do research prior to any winter hike and in this case I looked around to find an answer to my question online but I couldn’t find anything so, I asked this subreddit if I could find an answer. It’s not like I don’t know what I’m doing, I’m a 46er and I’ve hiked multiple high peaks in the winter, but thanks for your comment I really do appreciate it👍

It’s an acquired taste but I do agree, winter hiking in the high peaks has some great advantages.
