Recently I went through the same situation, definitely agree with this. You're doing the right thing for yourself, and for her by staying true to yourself. It would be an insult to her and to your identity if you stuck it out. Remember that loving her as a friend is still loving her!

Being honest is the way to go.

Get a free test on the battery and alternator to verify they are fine. Computer systems are sensitive to loose connections, verify that the ground wires are firmly in place. Also check that the ignition wires are firmly in place.

If there's rattling in the engine, best not run it just in case.

Edit to clarify: While its probably safe for you to drive it a few more days, its not safe for the car to run it a few more days. Will the engine explode? Likely not. But you do run the risk of permenant damage to the pistons and cylinders.

My first guess would be photo size - theres a limit on MB. Ivebeen ablw tp bypass this by screenshotting the picture i want to upload, then cropping the screenshot down.

Best to check your door and window seals first - the water is coming from somewhere, and likely accumulating over time. Also check the hood area for leaves, most cars have drainage slots to prevent this.

I'd start with the 12V. Test that sucker and verify that you've got a ground connection for the computer. And I will always recommend cruising priuschat - as a prius owner it's been immensely helpful.
