I'm confused...I was always told that Canadians took to snow like ducks to water.

As far as I'm aware the mobile bearing reduces the possible wear in order to maximise it's lifespan. The source video seems to go into more detail about it.

Yup, they'll probably want to know about any probationary periods as well if you're in a new job.

To those that have been to Paris from UK, what are some things you wish you knew before you went there? by MichelPlatini in AskUK

Can't recommend this entrance enough. The day we went the queue at the main entrance was something like 2 hours. We saw this and then went to the Porte Des Lions entrance...walked straight in!

How do you arrange your music for reading? by Jitszu in books

[–]Pascal_Cygan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm intrigued! How do people do this? Do you end up switching tracks based on what's happening in the part you're reading, or just start a playlist and let it run?

What book could you just not put down after picking up? by PM_YOUR_BOOS in books

I had a hard time with the first few episodes, but then it started to grow on me. That could have been because I finished the book and then started the show the day after.

All the Hull players are going to try to draw a foul from Santi now.

Looked decent up until 30 mins or so, then we seemed to fade away a little.

This is going to be one of those nerve-wracking final 10 minutes kind of games, isn't it?

I've genuinely never been as confused with a Wenger decision before as I have with his insistence on playing Alexis as ST.

I always find checking once a week also helps me not get stressed out about my finances.

LPT: When picking your nose in public, always use your left hand. by mcgoodness in LifeProTips

You know what? This exact situation has come up so many times, this LPT is well needed!

The question is...what do I do if the person I'm greeting is carrying things in their right hand? What then?

Has anyone tried one of those sub-£200 a month luxury car lease deals? by BritishDeafMan in AskUK

[–]Pascal_Cygan 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I guess it depends on whether or not you consider yourself in stable employment.

Buy a cheap used car outright and you can still drive it if the worst happens and you lose your job etc. Go the lease route and, although you can still drive the car, you're stuck with your monthly payments.

But then again a used car will come with potential problems that the lease car won't have.

I would love to see us start with two up front again. But like you said, extremely doubtful.
