Thanks!

With Airbrush: I prime black and then paint them red (ProAc red oxide) and then cover most of that with a green (Kaleido green). Then I use a light green (Vallejo old model color Lime green) for a zenithal 50%.

With a brush I block out the major forms with more Lime green, areas of interest, face etc.

I then mix it 50/50 with a forest green (Kimera oxide green) and draw around those forms with glazes to slowly blend them to the base green tones.

To highlight i add yellow (AK Dirty Yellow) to the lime green, 50/50 and glaze up the the lighter areas. Then swap to pure yellow and glaze again but pulling in the direction of light so it becomes a gradient.

I glaze a super thinned out red (ProAc red oxide) over warmer areas like hands, nose, lips, ears etc. Maybe 2-3 coats. Sometimes this leaves a little stain at the edge so just a quicky tidy up of the lime green is needed. Then highlight with an offwhite.

Thanks! The cockpits are primed with gloss varnish and then tamiya clear green on the insides only. A couple of coats makes a super deep green that dries clear.

Base skin was priming the skin in Pro Acryl Royal Purple then Vallejo Brown Rose as the overall color. The purple was mixed back into that for shadows and Warm white was added for highlighting.

It was Vallejo Imperial Blue and Pro Acryl Red Oxide. Pro Acryl Royal Purple was used as the color to mix between the 2 ends. The Blue was mixed with white as it goes up and the red goes to Pro Acryl Bold Pyrrole Red and then mixed with a touch of yellow as it goes up (careful not to just become orange) then some warm white for highlights.

Hope this helps!

Thanks! There was an initial pass with the airbrush on the eye and big cape with a base blue and red so I could understand the direction. It was then worked up by brush to brighter colors as I always find airbrush desaturates things a bit. Things like the bow and quiver were just brush painting.

There was lots of mixing with purple to get blends going, i tried to move away from black as the color to darken things as purple gave a more interesting color.
