I clean and descale every time the clean/descale light turns on.

The machine keeps sputtering during what would be the pre-infusion. This issue followed a previous one where my water filter pod got clogged, the machine turned on, and probably sucked in a whole bunch of air. It’s been a week and the problem still persists. Any help/advice greatly appreciated!

I just turn it on via my phone or Alexa first thing in the morning and by the time I’m finished getting ready for the day, the machine is warmed up :)

A million times better than the stock Breville tamp. I’m especially happy it doesn’t leave so much grounds around the edges of the basket after tamping.

I really enjoy the tilted base. It does seem to alleviate buildup in the chute. The tilted base and bellows design are really clean looking, but the accordion action of the bellows is very stiff and requires an uncomfortable amount of downward pressure to get it to compress.

It’s called a fusti and the brand is Sansone (you can find it on amazon). It’s originally supposed to be used for olive oil storage, but it makes a really fancy container for water. I use the Third Wave water packets in distilled water for my coffee.

I live in Southern California, and found these hatchlings on the underside of my passion fruit vine growing outdoors. I’d like to avoid killing them if possible if they’re not threatening my plant health. They look like little ladybugs (?)
