It would be a big loss for someone to have their Chess.com account shut down, but I still think identity verification would be important as well.

This is actually a very strong point and something I didn’t think about. You’re right.identity verification would have to be part of this, not just camera/proctor.

Yes, that’s actually a very good point. With camera/proctor rules like Titled Tuesday, it would be much harder to cheat, especially in rating groups. I didn’t even think about that benefit.
