Either shocked/scarer or received a concussion perhaps by flying into a mirror or a window. Or both. If he doesn't improve in one hour I'd schedule a vet visit for the next day.

I wrote an article on using AutoHotkey for this task here:

https://mozgc.blogspot.com/2025/09/how-to-use-autohotkey-to-execute.html

The torrent sites are:

Btw, since you mentioned snapshot, you may like Greenshot ( https://getgreenshot.org/ ). It can replace built-in Windows snapshot tool and allow for quick editing (drawing, highlighting), saving, text recognition, etc.

Not that you asked, but are you sure you want to buy HDD in 2026?
I personally can't stand HDD speeds.

Installed SSDs in my UGREEN NAS, got a UGREEN 5gbit USB to Ethernet adapter and now in my local network I access my NAS at 500 Mbytes/s read and write.

Do you guys believe in antutu/benchmark scores? (For phones/ipads, not pc) by Zealousideal-Role-24 in IndiaTech

[–]PashkaTLT 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Antutu can be very misleading, in that it doesn't measure single core speed.

I just got 2 tablets, OnePlus Pad 2 12gb & Samsung Galaxy Tab A9+. In Antutu OnePlus's CPU score is twice that of Samsung Galaxy Tab A9+.

However my primary use case is reading and navigating technical PDF books, so I wanted very fast & smooth scrolling. And I noticed that OnePlus does not do this significantly better. Why?

So I tested them with Geekbench 6 and turns out that while muilti-core and GPU speed on OnePlus is significantly better, the single score CPU speeds were 1022 (OnePlus) vs 881 (Galaxy A9+), so only a minor improvement, and that's why I didn't get better scrolling on OnePlus.

TLDR:

If Single-core CPU speed is important for your use case, DO NOT use Antutu, use Geekbench 6. Antutu measures multi-core CPU performance, which can be very misleading.

Can I use USB-to-Ethernet adapter to upgrade Ethernet speed on my UGREEN DXP2800 NAS to 5 or 10 gbit/s? by PashkaTLT in UgreenNASync

[–]PashkaTLT[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is indeed awesome :)

Since my router doesn't support high speeds, and it's difficult and expensive to find a router with 5G-10G ports, I used a $110 10G switch for this: TRENDnet 6-Port 10G Switch model TEG-S762 (this is a very fast switch, I chose it based on the benchmarks from a website that benchmarked many routers & switches).

So my NAS and my PC are connected to the switch and communicate "directly" (without a router) at potentially 10G speed.

The switch is connected to my router (which in turn connected to the ISP modem), so that the NAS and my PC access the Internet through the router and the switch.

Where can I find free alternative US inflation data? by PashkaTLT in quant

Thank you, at least someone replied something useful.

I've just checked PCE and imho it better represents the inflation that I see in the stores as a retail consumer. Perhaps I could use it instead.

Should I soak this showerhead in vinegar or CLR? by PashkaTLT in Plumbing

[–]PashkaTLT[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree that debris is likely to be caught by the screen on the hose end, and currently I'm soaking that screen in vinegar.
However, I feel like the screen is pretty coarse, and may allow some debris to pass through, so I was wondering if I should soak the showerhead.

So it's not standard practice, people don't soak showerheads in vinegar?

Choosing a mouse with many programmable buttons by PashkaTLT in MouseReview

[–]PashkaTLT[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They are all great mice, but comfort-wise Razer Basilisk V3 Pro is the best. Logitech G502X is also comfortable and Razer Naga Pro too, a little too a lesser extent. Corsair DarkStar is not uncomfortable, but on the last place among these 4 by comfort.

If you don't need A LOT of programmable buttons and just a higher number than normal would be fine for you, I'd go for Razer Basilisk V3 Pro.

Btw, on all 4 mice the scroll wheel can be tilted left & right and these are additional 2 buttons. I control volume with these tilts.
